How would Joe Louis and Rocky Marciano fare against modern Heavies?

We had dinner with a friend of a family member in Vegas. He knew a young Mike Tyson, who would sometimes sleep on his couch. He described him as an “idiot savant” knew everything about boxing and it’s history. Would watch old fight films all day. Course being an avid weight lifter I had to ask how big he was. He said he’d often wear track suits ( I’m a fan myself ) and that he wasent a huge guy or anything but you could tell that he was muscular.
Basically I just wish the day comes when we can get actual legit tale of the tapes before each fight. I mean the fans would love mandatory fight night weigh ins. That’d put an end to so much speculation. Will never happen. Heck heavyweights with no weight limits can wear all the clothes they want and sombreros etc. ala Andy Ruiz. Wilder in jogging pants. I know it’s rare but they will always tell you they are in the best shape ever.

Rovky kept being annoyed that Ali ruffled his hairpiece. It was easy to see that Rocky was as fat as a porker. and his action was speeded up by cameras.

It was just a sales gimmick after all. \if he felt he couldn't do anything aIinst Patterson, he certainly couldn't against Ali.

The week after giving a RING interview that he would be fighting a few more years, he suddenly retired. Patterson won the title from Moore 5 months later.

- - Ali and Rocky had A LOT of hard earned respect for each other. Body punches were allowed. And yes, for a substantial payday they choreographed a potential fight with an open ending the producer could change at will depending on the target audience.

Ali was as arrogant as he was lazy. Do you think Alis final record would be better or worse if he trained harder and didn't under estimate so many opponents?
