I think if Tiberi and Sosa hit you that much then it is fair to say it. I don't care if he was "out of shape" if his defense was as good as people make out he wouldn't get hit that much by that caliber of opponent.
    augustus landed consistently on mayweather

Thats true. Tyson's approach was designed to make sure his opponent was compomised by that time.

Yeah he did,, or at the very least, he landed enough to bust up floyd..

That haven't yet been mentioned Gene Tunney from what little footage there is, Benny Leonard, Ivan Calderon.

Joan Guzman was a slippery little bugger.

He bloodied his nose with one punch. So what you're saying there in that sentance is he landed one punch.

He didn't land consistently on Floyd at all. Floyd stood toe to toe and traded more, but he still wasn't hit consistently especially not compared to the way Tiberi and Sosa hit Toney.

And I don't know why we should pretend that Floud is bein honest when he says that's his toughest fight obviously it wasn't he won basically every round before stopping him.

Lol, the Emmanuel Augustus fight wasn't his hardest fight. When Floyd calls him his "toughest opponent" he was talking about his ability to take punishment and yet at the same time still keep on pushing/trying.

That may be true, but his awkward style was able to land on floyd... I don't know how it's debatable...

And I have heard floyd talk about his "hardest fight" not toughest opponent.. He has always said augustus... He is probably just blowing smoke, but August did have as much success vs floyd as anyone in the lower weights besides castillo..

I think it's totally inaccurate to say he just landed one big shot that busted up floyd..
Shane and Corley landed just one big shot..
Augustus had a lot more success than them...
