Yes, you're forgetting that 33 in 1987 was different than 33 in 2022.

Ali was thought to be washed up at 32 in 1974.

Marciano was done by 32.

Historically, most athletes outside of a few exceptions like Archie Moore & Foreman were thought to be over the hill by 33 years old.

It's not like now where we see athletes over 40 regularly competing with and beating prime guys.

Holyfield was at his absolute best at Cruiser, maybe even better than his Heavyweight form.

Qawi had been through wars with Spinks & and Saad Muhammad & Marvin Johnson by the time he fought Holyfield.

That says Holyfield was taller, SPOT THE COMMA , at 189 3/4lbs Qawi was heavier.LOL
