  • Holyfield's hair fell out in a year, he had those symptoms consistent with HGH use, the Evan Fields thing, "it was for hormonal reasons, you can ask my doctor but he is dead", the NSAC saying after the Moorer fight that his symptoms were very consistent with HGH use, but they couldn't test for it.

This is not a court of law where you must prove something beyond a reasonable doubt. Circumstantial evidence and common sense will lead you to believe he took some PEDs.....but how many of his opponents did too? Probably quite a few.

    • Holyfield was doubled over or hurt from bodyshots by Foreman, Moorer, Lewis, Bowe numerous times, and eventually stopped by Toney. The best work Tyson did in their two fights was when he did his usual right-side, hook/uppercut combo.

Frazier is only one of the greatest body punchers ever.

Frazier wins a brutal war. His face will look like he did after FOTC and the Thrilla and Holyfield's body will feel like he got hammered by bats swung by Barry Bonds.

      • Frazier Wins!

This one could go a number of ways, I agree with the post that Frazier does outwork him by the end, he either wins a close decision, TKO's him late or early to mid rounds, he gets that awesome Left Hook in and puts him to sleep, either way it goes, it's Frazier all the way in a good tough fight.

        • Frazier's biggest accomplishment was a clear decision victory over a rusty Ali. The other questionableable accomplishment was KO'ing Bob Foster, a great lightheavyweight who was KO'd every time he went to heavyweight. Outside of those two asteriks, he never defeated an all time great. Where is a Kenny Norton fight? Oh, we were friends. If Holy or Norton fought Frazier, I think it is a little close for me to call. I suppose I would have to favor Holyfield over Joe, if pressed. The awkward Bonavena gave Frazier fits, and I cannot envision Holy doing worse. Frazier was a very good and continuous puncher, but not among the hardest in heavyweight history. Swarmers are seldom one punch KO artists. He had just decent one punch power, not enough to get rid of Holyfield.

i agree Ali was rusty, But it was also the best performance of his career going by punchstats..i cannot recall seeing Muhammad Ali fight as great as he fought that night in FOTC.. big, fast and powerful was Ali, dancing and moving faster than in any other fight he fought.. yes, rusty i agree with. But credit must go to Joe Frazier for the pressure he applied. Also let us not forget Frazier is ten Bert Cooper's rolled into one.

                • Easy fight for Frazier. Reason being: Holyfield would be easy to drag into a brawl, which would be inside work most of the time, tipping the scales massively in favor. Frazier stops Holyfield. Prime for prime. Most definitely.

even if Holyfield came in with a game plan to box and move, I don’t think he could stick to it in this particular fight. This is a fight Holyfield would really get busted up in.
