I know its a troll but sh** like this just pisses me off. It makes me think of people who only saw Hagler-Hearns and Hagler-Leonard and therefore think Hagler only brawled.

And I can't believe there are people who think Calzaghe beat Hagler.

Hagler by way of second round manslaughter.

It was my Lennox Lewis imitation following the Klitschko fight. I am too lazy to look so maybe I am wrong.

edit: You said that you don't think Hagler has a high enough boxing IQ.

How could you forget, it was one page back. lol

I think we call different things "seriously hurt". Can you make me another example of a seriously hurt fighter?

Personally to call someone seriously hurt I want to see their knees buckle. A famous recent case of that is Mayweather getting nailed by Mosley. His knee buckled (and he held on, but some fighters jut don't do that).

I think he is right. I don't rate Hagler IQ very high (and he is my 2nd fav fighter). For someone who could literally do it all, he made some dumb choices at time.

Since when was Hagler even a pressure fighter? Why would Calzaghe need power to keep Hagler off him when Hagler wouldn't be on him?

Well, I'm going to jump overboard and say that I honestly think Calzaghe had a major chance of winning this fight. Just as Hagler does....

Then you don't know much and you simply have a dislike that clouds what you see of him. If you really watch what he does, he fights incredibly smart. Without a doubt one of the most intelligent, adaptable fighters of the modern era and yes, he was a smarter fighter than Hagler.

Doesn't mean he would win, but I give him a great chance. Whoever thinks Hagler stops him is daft also. No one gets hurt and no one gets stopped in this fight.

Tactical, reasonably slow paced fight with neither guy letting the other get the upper hand. Would be fascinating.

I think Hagler pressures Joe throughout the whole fight landing medium powered shots wearing Joe down them pounces somewhere between rounds 9 - 11 and scores a TKO after a flash knockdown then a severe beating after Joe gets back up.
                      Hagler beats Calzaghe easily.
