Paulie Malignaggi is a better fighter than Maidana. Has the greater resume. Fought the tougher opposition. Is the bigger draw. Yet Amir Khan got trashed for fighting the 'Better Fighter' Paulie and ducking the 'Bigger Puncher' Maidana and inferior fighter.

That's totally irrelavent because Paulie is nowhere near the fighter to the 140lb division that Ali was to the heavyweight division. Ali was a top 3-5 fighter. Paulie's not top 5. That's a big difference.
