hahaha Yeah get at me because I'm a newb.

I admit I'm not a long time fan of the sport, I'm only 17 and just gotten into it but I've been non-stop trying to learn for about 2-3 years now. Unlike some people I post and get onto this site to learn more and enjoy the sport. Not pick petty arguments for fun by bashing all time greats like Frazier with arguments that hold no weight.

And as far as me not knowing who was relevant in this era you'd be quite surprised I believe.

Real great's don't organize their own little title eliminators, even when they may not be champion.

What was frazier's excuse for not fighting Lyle from 1973-1976 when he was no longer champion and no longer in a position to be calling the shots?

During those years,Lyle managed to secure fights with foreman and the champion Ali.both these men beat frazier twice decisively and yet they still fought Lyle. Why was frazier on such a higher level.

Seriously....don't you ever get tired of looking like a biased, uneducated fan? WHY would Frazier make a fight with anyone when he could make a fight with the better fighter who beat said fighters? Does that make any sense whatsoever? Second...WHY take a fight with Lyle over Ali or Foreman? You've never had an answer for this, nor the time line, and it makes you look like an idiot. Easy question PissPot.....why duck Foreman and Ali for Lyle? Where's the upside?

You continue to believe in the fairytale stories while I take the role of the realist.

As a so called "realist".....where is the proof you're right and everything Futch and everybody else associated with the fight is wrong? Prove the lie or admit you don't know jack, but are a simple minded hater. You're so adamant you must have SOME proof, right?

Well I do, so man up.

I don't think you even know what you're talking about anymore.I have answered this question many times in the past and you have ignored it.

Have you forgotten that both foreman and Ali,both of whom were greater than frazier actually fought Lyle?

Did Ali and foreman duck frazier for Lyle,or did they fight Lyle and then fight frazier just a couple months later?

You're an apologist for joke frazier. An apologist who seems to think frazier spent three years fighting Ali and foreman every other week and had no time do anything else.

Lol, say what you want, you still haven't answered the questions. Until than you got nothing...nada...zilch...zero. Fact is, Lyle, Foster and whatever else you want to claim simply weren't relevant in the big picture. These are FACTS.

The fact is. Joe Frazier only has 1 big puncher on his resume. Nobody can deny that. Joe fought in an era with some of the biggest punchers the division has ever seen and to only have fought 1 of them, it takes some of the shine away imo.

Ok...so tell me how it would have looked for Frazier to fight these so called "big punchers" instead of the guys who beat them...the better fighters?

Paulie Malignaggi is a better fighter than Maidana. Has the greater resume. Fought the tougher opposition. Is the bigger draw. Yet Amir Khan got trashed for fighting the 'Better Fighter' Paulie and ducking the 'Bigger Puncher' Maidana and inferior fighter.

Fact is. Frazier or his management purposely ducked the big punchers of his era. From his very own mouth, Frazier stated that the first time he fought the contender Foreman, he didn't know "he was that strong and powerful"....

Frazier didn't fight Lyle among other big punchers when he clearly could have.

You're entire argument is based upon one thought. That Frazier would rather have fought Ali and Foreman than the other big punchers. Well Frazier wasn't fighting Ali or Foreman every ****ing Sunday.

Face it, you guys need an excuse to hate. If Joe ducked Quarry to fight Lyle you'd be bitching about that too. He fought the better fighters, tell me he didn't?
