If you think Byrd or Ruiz or Barrett Oquendo Golota McCline could beat Vitali, you're not worth the time debating. The Ks cleaned out the division totally.
Proof none of them wanted to fight him?
How many ranked contenders turn down a title chance?

Whether they could beat him is irrelevant, their ranking meant they deserved a chance to try!

Vitali didn't clear out anything, most of his fights were against unranked journeymen!
His resume is distinctly underwhelming what was he doing fighting Donald,Briggs,Sosnowski, Charr,Williams,Chisora,[ did anyone think they could beat him ,]when those guys were ranked?

You're an apologist for him, and don't include his Brother in the equation, this thread ,YOUR thread is about Vitali!

      - - Byrd didn't own the WBO when Vitali made his comeback after shoulder surgery, but U p4p#1 DUH boy.

But he would have had it if Vits went after the rematch. Instead he fought for the EBU title.

What if Vitali needed extra time for his shoulder to recover and hence could not fight on the date the Wlad Byrd fight was scheduled ?

Give me a break. He fought a month later. Im sure if he had went after the rematch Byrd would have accommodated him. Instead little brother stepped up when Vits wouldn't.

Actually it happens. Mayweather had a WBA title shot vs Vivian Harris but ducked it to fight Henry Bruseles, which HBO bought lol. Golovkin as champ was ducked for years by all the big names Jacobs, Canelo, Quillin, Martinez, Cotto, Floyd. Wladimir was also dodged as WBO champ, Sanders was like the fourth substitute. I believe Tyson turned down an offer to face then WBO champ Vitali.

Do you know anything about the nature of the shoulder injury that 6 weeks extra healing time would not have made any difference ?

You claimed none of them wanted named wanted to fight him.

You claimed he ducked no one.

                    Neither is true.

We arent talking about Golovkin or anyone else we are talking about Vitali, and he was a cherry picker.

I fine man ,but very selective about his opponents in his boxing career.

We are talking about Vitali not Golovkin or anyone else.

You claimed Vitali ducked nobody I say he did, including a rematch with Byrd.
You claim none of those I named were prepared to face Vitali,I'm calling BS on that.
Tua was happy to face Lewis but wouldnt face Vitali?

Golota went in there with Lewis, Bowe and Tyson but drew the line at Vitali?

Tyson fought Holyfield, Lewis, and Ruddock, but Vitali was a bridge too far for him?

Rahman fought Lewis and Holyfield but avoided Vitali?
                      Nothing personal but
                      = BS
I'm saying Vitali cherrypicked his opposition his whole career,he is a fine man but he was a very selective picker of opponents in a boxing ring!
