Wlad is not Vits. Byrd took Vits WBO title and Vits never tried to regain it. Pretending the brothers are one and the same is ridiculous. Byrd fought Vits close and had Vits fans cheering for him by the end of the fight. Saying anything different is grasping at straws.

Vitali was mandatory for Lewis when did Byrd become mandatory for Vitali ?

So you're saying Byrd beating Vits doesnt matter, but Vits losing to Lewis and wanting a rematch does....um ok.

Valuev never ever talked about Vitali or Wladimir. I remember Wladimir was once asked about Valuev and he said he would have fun with him. Easy work.
          In2002 Holyfield was no4 Vitali was no7.

Tyson didn't want any of Vitali's smoke, but he was happy to fight Lewis that year2002.lol
In2004 Vitali was the Ring Champion.
          1.Byrd
          2,Ruiz
          3.Rahman
          4.Toney
          5.Barrett
          6.Golota
          7.Oquendo
          8. McCline
          9,Sanders
          10.Brewster
According to you the reason Vitali did not defend against no's 1.2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10 is they didn't want a title shot against him.
          Now that's ridiculous!

What is also ridiculous is you making excuses for Vitali by passing 21 ranked contenders when he himself was ranked, and fighting past it unranked men and journeymen, like:
          Williams, Sosnowski,Charr,Briggs.

You have no evidence or basis to show any of those names I posted didn't want to fight Vitali, that's just your unsupported opinion, which is all I have seen in any of your posts.
Statements with no facts to back them up.

No one on your list wanted to fight Vitali and there is no documented interview evidence that any of them called him out. Nobody on that list could beat him. Nice try. Toney mouthed off about fighting the Ks but at that stage that's all he could do was talk and draw attention to himself and his falling career. If you think Byrd or Ruiz or Barrett Oquendo Golota McCline could beat Vitali, you're not worth the time debating. The Ks cleaned out the division totally.

Proof none of them wanted to fight him?
How many ranked contenders turn down a title chance?

Whether they could beat him is irrelevant, their ranking meant they deserved a chance to try!

Vitali didn't clear out anything, most of his fights were against unranked journeymen!
His resume is distinctly underwhelming what was he doing fighting Donald,Briggs,Sosnowski, Charr,Williams,Chisora,[ did anyone think they could beat him ,]when those guys were ranked?

You're an apologist for him, and don't include his Brother in the equation, this thread ,YOUR thread is about Vitali!

                  - - Poor Field bu$ted and shot kept kicking the idea that he could still unify all the titles, a sad legacy.

But he would have had it if Vits went after the rematch. Instead he fought for the EBU title.

What if Vitali needed extra time for his shoulder to recover and hence could not fight on the date the Wlad Byrd fight was scheduled ?
