This is the reason for Byrd's victory. As I told you the german broadcast of the fight said the was someting going on with the arms in round three, likey a partial tear that becme a full tear on later in the fight.

I already told you that Lewis was not planning on retirement. He tried to make other matches and only retired 8+ months later when the WBC ordered a re-match or Lewis would be stripped of the last belt he held. ( he dropped belts to avoid facing Ruiz and Byrd ). We know Vitali was up for the re-match and Lewis said on air and to the press he would give it. But when he had no other options but to fight Vitali or be lose his last belt via the WBC only then did he retire.

    FACTS.

You are right, you're baffling. You have no proof of what you alleging.
So the HBO interpreter didn't say a word about the most important event of the fight, but the German broadcast did? Interesting. I'll ask again, do you speak German?

Also, and the must be where the "doctor" part of Dr. Z comes in, you say a torn shoulder is '"dead", and you say accordi g to the German broadcast it happened in the 3rd round. Can you tell me what round Vits stopped using this "dead" arm? Are you really a doctor? How can you say when it was a partial tear and when it was a full tear? My theory, and the way Vits fought backs it up, is that he didn't tear it until the end of the last round before he quit. He never stopped using it, and Byrd was closing the gap. Vits knew this and got scared. He thought he was going to do an Ibeabuchi on Byrd but didn't have the skills.

No who here is really being baffling?

One more time.....are you a German speaking doctor?

Now tell me Ed Mahone and Obed Sullivan were ranked when the fought Vitali for his WBO title!
Tell me Sosnowski was ranked when he fought Vitali for the WBC title!
        - - Sosnowski was a solid Boxrec rated contender when he fought Vit. Between Vit and Wlad, the heavy ranks were severally damaged in between the duckers like Haye.

Never had the Brits and Americans been so decimated.

            - - Boxrec the best website in the history of boxing, hand's down. At least they're transparent unlike Ring which is highly limited.

                - - This example after the fight shows the sheer domination of the Ks---

                1. Wlad

                2. Vitali

                3. Haye (already backed out of one signed and sealed contract and refused recent 50/50 offer by the Klitschkos, signing to defend against Audley Harrison in spite of repeated denials that he was even in negotiations)
                4. Adamek (pending to allow cuts to heal, but apparently fighting Maddalone in Dec)
                5. Chagaev (beat badly by Wlad and currently Haye’s mandatory)
                6. Povetkin (refused to sign negotiated agreement to challenge in Wlad’s last defense, thus losing his 2 yr long mandatory ranking, not to mention his trainer, Teddy Atlas, says Povetkin is not yet ready to challenge for the title.)
                7. Valuev (interesting deal was almost put together against Vitali, but out into next year with left shoulder/wrist surgery)
                8. Peter (beat badly by Wlad 2x/Vitali 1x)
                9. Thompson (beat badly by Wlad with no following)
                10. Chambers (beat badly by Wlad and still rebuilding)
                11. Arreola (beat badly by Vitali and still rebuilding)
                12. Dimitrenko (new EBU champ, but turned down Klitschko offers, maybe building into a much bigger promotion in the next year of two)
                13. Gomez (beat badly by Vitali and a last ditch opponent for now)
                14. Sexton (busy being knocked out by Chisora)
                15. Boytsov (maybe in the future, but only 24 and shaking off the rust after coming back from hand surgery, now is not his time, maybe a year or two in a bigger promotion)
                16. Austin (beat badly by Wlad with no following)
                17. Helenius (very promising prospect recently breaking into fringe contender. Maybe a year or two away in a much bigger promotion)
                18. Solis (chubby growing into a blimp with promoter problems looking like he’s moving to challenge for the WBA cheese belt, not the Klitschkos)
                19. Pianeta (who dat?)
                20. T Ibragimov (The lesser talented of the Russian Iggys, his cousin already lost a shutout against Wlad)
                21. Sosnowski (beat badly by Vitali and rebuilding against Dimitrenko)
                22. Ustinov (undefeated Russian Bigfoot monster promoted by Ks and wants a Kbro. I’m guessing Vitali’s retirement fight if he makes it past Briggs and can’t sign Haye or Valuev)
                23. Holyfield (Oh, brother, where art thou buried? Jeez…..)
                24. Platov (who? See Pianeta!)
                25. Johnson (beat worse than badly by Vitali……..please, watching Vitali try to stuff a giant squash into a blender would be better stuffing for a Saturday night turkey……..nevermore…….nevermore…….)

This thread is about Vitali, not his Brother.
Haye backed out of a fight with Vitali because their promotional companyK2 wanted 2 options on Haye if he should win.The right to a rematch and the right to pick Hayes opponent for his first defence,no prizes for guessing who those opponents would have been! lol

They did the same thing to Valuev.
