You can make the argument that Fury can beat anybody in history based on his size and skill, fine.

But his resume doesn't jibe with making him a top 5 HW of all-time

Beating Deontay Wilder 2 times & a blown up cruiser in Usyk doesn't make you a top 5 HW of all-time.

Now, if he just mowed everybody down in 2 rounds the way Mike Tyson used to, then you, you might have a point, but that's not what it is.

Usyk strugged with Derek Chisora, FFS.

Anthony Joshua lost to Andy Ruiz & then fought scared in the rematch.

Beating Fury doesn't put him ahead of guys who had long reigns as champion or were undisputed in a world with only 1 champion.

They both need long reigns and to prove their worth before we put them in that class.

I'm not the biggest Klitschko guy, but at least he was champ for 10 years and defended the belt 20 times before people put him up there.
    - Usyk an Olympic Heavy Gold Medal been fighting against 200+ fighters most of his life as an adult has a better pro record than Holyfield whose 26-10-2 record at heavy was briefly exciting in a sorta perverse way, but quickly petered out though he kept fighting when he should've been retired.

Jeeez, Usyk bigger than some 70% of heavy champs in history...duh!!!

AJ switched styles against a very dangerous Fat Andy to pitch a vicious shutout that most heavy champs in history could not endure to win back his unified titles that we have AJ to thank for making all the best fights in his era that is still ongoing.

Fury at his best is formidable, but he seems to have some innate inferiority complex when tasked to fight AJ and Usyk not to mention the Wlad rematch. Been spitting his dummy against those fighters too hot for him to handle for years now.

So you're admitting Holyfield fought better opponents a day beat better opponents. OK, so what does heavyweight record have to do with anything? It's all about who you fought, not what your record is.

Who would be no more difficult for Larry Holmes than the more experienced Lucien Rodriguez.

                - - No, I quoted you falsely quoting me to rub your puppy nose in your mess. Usyk is a better heavy and fought bigger fighters than did Field save for his Valuev farce...

If Fury takes the fight and wins it will be his best victory. But Fury has beaten mildly skilled prime fighters. He has been down six times, and very lucky to win one fight. He fighting a 36 year old man if he signs before he's 37 and IMO has only beaten Wilder who has not beaten many ring magazine ranked opponents! His historical standing is in flux now, maybe he is top 25-30 in non head to head ranking. He need to win, but like I said Usyk is already 36.

Looking at Fury's defense he is not hard to hit at all. If the fight gets off as planned I like Usyk on points with fair non BS judges. Fury has a lot of money and influence in England you know. The fight will be in his backyard.

Some in the media think Fury will put his big belly and flabby body on and Usky down with holding and hitting. This ASSumes Usyk will stand still for him to do so! He is smart and has excellent stamia. For now I like Usyk on points but this is the type of fight that the prediction is best held until the way in.

The man with the most to gain is Usyk. Do not totally write off Usyk via DQ either as Fury has been docked five points in five separate fights, mostly the when he needs a break. With wins over prime versions of Joshua and Fury, Usky will be on his way to the top 20 of all time.

How do you figure Usyk is a better heavyweights if he hasn't beaten the same level of fighters that Evander beat?

                      - - Since Usyk turned pro, he's been fighting top fighters, top 10s, undisputed, and now unified undefeated Champ while mostly doing it on the road, and never took the beatings and losses of Vander, 26-10-2.

You seem to have a predilection to beating dead horses...
