Place in history: Another guy cherry picking his way to becoming a billionaire and we pay for it. He doesn't step up soon he goes down in history as a bum. Just another big goon.Comment

AJ unified the Wlad titles to give the Blubber ducked all time great Wlad another crack at his unified titles. Maintained control of those titles win/lose/draw for 8 years now.
Alas, Blubber, I knew him well, Yorick.
Now reduced to sucking on he WBC pacifier, a fighter never more, never more...

How is that cherrypicking?
- - Stripped of every title he ever owned save that of his ill begotten low hanging spoilt fruit of WBC Deyonce circling the drain.

And Joshua has since gone on to lose to both Andy Ruiz and Usyk. Based on that he’s certainly not the best heavyweight of this era.Last edited by ShoulderRoll; 04-12-2023, 07:44 PM.Comment

K was finished and the fight bored everyone.
Wilder is the only plus (three times.)
"Was" doesn't count.
I am not saying he is cherry picking, maybe he is, maybe not, but, if before it's over, he doesn't fight AJ or/and Usyk, guys like you and me, twenty years down the road will call him a cherry picker.Last edited by Willie Pep 229; 04-12-2023, 08:58 PM.Comment

He beat Klitschko and Wilder and was going to fight little Usyk.
How is that cherrypicking?
It was Fury who ended the Klitschko title reign, not Joshua. I don’t know why it hurts you so much but the truth is the truth.

AJ already racked up 28 fights against the stiffest comp of his era. Nobody but Usyk is close, and they both stood down Blubber Melt, oh the ignominy!!!
Blubber 28th was Tom Schwarz, and 27th was the low hanging spoilt fruit of Deyonce who knocked him down twice and unlucky not to be awarded the KO.Comment

Joshua looked uninspiring in his most recent bout. He simply isn’t, and hasn’t been, the great heavyweight you make him out to be.Comment

I dunno.
I think Fury’s legacy, so far; is based on his being the tallest and heaviest excellent boxer ever, and being head & shoulders above a stacked division for 8 years running, going into his 2nd generation of contenders, and these things are only bolstered by the wins over x2 Wilder, the 2nd best of this generation easily, top ranked Whyte, and a reigning champion who was undefeated over 11 years before being completely mastered by Fury. And of course, he's still undefeated. His number of top 10 Scalps is surpassed by several others who are simply less great, possible because scalp counting, while vitally important, is but one factor to measure.
Seen em' fight, watched em' train and feel very confident about what I believe of them:
50 years of heavyweights:
1. Muhammad Ali
2. George Foreman
3. Lennox Lewis
4. Larry Holmes
5. Mike Tyson
6. Wladimir Klitschko
7.Tyson Fury
8. Joe Frazier
9. Deontay Wilder
10. Evander Holyfield
11.Vitali Klitschko
12.Anthony Joshua
13.Ken Norton
14.Rid**** Bowe
15.Jerry QuarryComment
