I still believe in Mike, in the first round of that Williams fight it felt like it was '87, '88 the way Tyson was dominating William's. Williams woundnt have made it past the second round if Tyson didnt injure his knee. If Roach can keep Mike focused he will do some damage in the HW division in 05. The current HW division is very weak right now and Tyson still has a good chance to dominate it once again.

That was an awful decision. If I was Golatta after hearing that decision I would have gave Ruiz a low blow first for clinchin so much, then the 3 judges would also get low blowed for being biased and corrupt and finally I would make my way to the locker room and find that little mole Norman and give him a low blow for being an asshole.
If Lewis and Tyson fought again the fight be a lot more competitive than the first one. Weeks before the match Tyson was partying in Hawaii instead focusing on the fight. And Tyson didnt have Roach or a good trainer at all in his corner to give him the proper preparation needed for a great fighter like Lewis.
My vote goes to Marcianno. I cant think of another man on this planet that could have fought for a couple rounds after their nose split in half.
Ali also deserves being mentioned for taking Foremans best shots and fighting Norton with a broken jaw.
Thats the HW champ :confused: Its a shame the quality and integrity of boxing has went down so low. You would never find boxing greats like Louis, Liston, Foreman posing for gay porn. They were killers in the ring and acted like gentlemen outside the ring. I guess anybody can be a HW champ now a days.
Liston is a definately a HeavyWeight great, he had a brutal jab that would give you headaches for days. He outslugged heavyhitters like Cleveland Williams and anihilated Floyd Patterson twice. If him and Marciano fought he would have whooped him up too. I got Liston rated at #9 on my top 10 list. I do believe Liston took a dive in the second Ali fight cause Liston has a granite chin and KOing people in the first round just isnt Ali's style.
Frazier ko in 5 rounds tops. Frazier didnt have too many problems gettin through Ali's jabs so I know Lewis's jabs definately wouldnt be a problem for Frazier. Soon as Frazier gets inside and lands the left it would be a wrap. Lewis has a weak chin and a slower jab than Ali and he just doesnt have the skills to beat Frazier.
There is no way a younger Holmes could beat a prime Tyson. A prime Tyson wouldnt have any problem gettin inside through Larry's jabs and punishing him. It would be similar to the first fight. Since were comparin Tyson to a younger Holmes I say Holmes might be lucky and last 2 or 3 rounds longer. Tyson by TKO in 7.
That is a good question. I think Ali was in his prime after the layoff. The younger Ali(that got dropped by Henry Cooper) was very quick but his chin wasnt that great. I dont think he wouldve been able to absorb Frazier or Foreman's fierous shots.
