Who's your favourite one-punch KO specialist?

was hearns really that deadly in his day or prime??? to answer that question he knocked out duran , and i mean fucked him over, in the second round. Durtan tasted canvass in the first also. And this was in the mid 80's so Duranb still had a lot of good years ahead of him (though for me his best years were always at Lightweight). Can you think of anyone else who has done this to "hands of stone" sure Sugar ray picked him apart, hearns just smashed him from the opening bell.

Tyson - I love watchin him KO people Foreman - Still had it at 45 (gotta love that heart).

Hearn's right hand was picture perfect. Went from point A to B fast and hard. Add the fact that he was over 6' tall and it was like a wrecking ball. It was all about the leverage he got on it...his fist would decend down like an asteriod falling to earth. Guys caught under it had little time to react....or just never saw it coming....kinda the same principal of a left hook, but coming overhead instead of the blind side. There has never been anyone in boxing that has perfected that punch like Hearns. He has the all time Right Hand. But.............I am a bit biased....he is one of my favorite boxers of all time. :o That doesn't make you biased. I'll bet one of the main reasons you like Hearns is because of that right hand....& that is totally understandable.

Hearns is right there no doubt as is Julian Jackson, it is funny that both guys didn't possess very good chins but maybe this is why they were such ferocious punchers, either Im taking you out or your taking me out. I have not seen a fighter that possessed the one punch power that a hearns or Jackson have, Tito is close but it would have to be at welterwieght or jr. middle for him to be in the running with these guys.

Its just so easy to say Mike, everyone does and when you question something about him his legions of fanatics comeout and berate you. Im tellin it as it is, only a blind man says Tyson hit harder than Foreman. Watch Marciano over Walcott and tell me Tyson had better one punch KO power, Marciano broke a guys arm with a punch. P4P Bob Foster had better power than Mike, its not even debateable, at lightheavy he was a beast.

JPW.... I got ya..... Hearns is unquestionably one of the best punchers ever. His KO's over Cuevas, Duran, Schuler, Roldan...are tops. I don't know if any fighter in history possessed the right hand that Hearns did. It was perfectly thrown, & it came behind his jab with more velocity than any punch in history. 1. Foreman 2. Tyson 3. Tua 4. Hearns 5. Corrie Sanders Somebody mentioned Vitali Klitschko earlier in this thread. Can´t think of ANY real one-punch KO by Vitali. His KO-statistics seem to be impressive, but I´ve seen all of his fights, and most of the stoppages were made with his opponents on their feet. Nonetheless, he hits hard ;) .

tommy "hitman" hearns. shame bout the chin or he would have ruled every divsion he boxed in. No one ever sparked Duran like Hearns did. Total destruction.
