Marquez outboxed pacquiao badly and won that fight so obviously whatever he did was the right thing to do. Dont even bother arguing that marquez didnt win, when 95% of active boxers who say something believe marquez won that should tell you what really happened.

he lost in the eyes of his boxing peers and almost everyone in the boxing world. No one cares what the judges said...everyone knows who the real winner is. Go find me one fight where pacquiao doesnt lift his hand after the final bell....that signifies he didnt even think he had a chance of getting the decision...lost all respect for pac when he lied like a criminal saying he thought he clearly won the fight.
If I was setting the odds I would make floyd at least a 3.5: 1 favorite. pacquiao got exposed for what he really is and that he really hasnt gotten any better since 2008 and if anything maybe he got worse.

With that said, why do people rely on others to form an opinion when they can judge for themselves? Besides, I actually know several pro fighters and none of them really sit down and pay attention to details during a fight unless its an opponent they are facing. They are either their to have a good time with friends/associates.

Lets get real ...marquez won the fight and manny knows it. Even after their 2nd fight which manny also lost he put up his hands after the final bell as the winner. Look at his face after the final bell, he knows he lost the fight which makes his post fight comments lies and frankly disgraceful.

pacquiao is no all time-great above 135 LBS....he only fights guys when they are weak coming off a big loss at the higher weights. He is only where he is at today because fights he lost against JMM were not counted as such.

are you a pac fanatic or a boxing fan? The dlh floyd fought at 154 was a straight up beast and would have literally murdered pac. I have never been impressed with pac fighting leftovers and guys at low points in their career following big losses , this last marquez fight was the nail in the coffin. I'm sorry but you have to look at things as a whole and realize pac has met his match at welter. He was great at the lower weights but floyd is a once in a lifetime talent and at welter pac cant beat him. After the news that has been coming out about Arum, it is obvious neither pac or floyd are ducking the fight....it is the greddy promoter not making it happen.

floyd was stepping up a division and fighting the best guy at the division right away, pac has not fought the best guy in the last 4 divisions he has won world titles at. Floyd was injured and fought a bad fight....but got a close decision. Now please go find me a bunch of pro boxers and most of the media saying they thought castillo won and that it was a robbery.
was it just me or if khan just traded in the middle of the ring he would have won easily? I felt like from round 5 on the only times peterson landed anything good was when he got khan on the ropes and worked inside to the body and then mixed in some uppercuts/hooks.

no when I watched the fight I had pacquiao winning round 1 and 6 but I had marquez taking rounds 2-5 with the crisper more accurate punches landed.
my final score was 115-113 Marquez and I felt I was quite generous with pacquiao in terms of the 5 rounds I gave to him.
man....donaire was a 20:1 favorite he was supposed to smash this bum . stop acting like this was anything but a gimme just because donaire is nowhere near as good as he is being hyped as evidenced by his last 2 fights.
