Friday morning, fight fans eyes were opened by a headline few expected. Longtime Flyweight stalwart Pongsaklek Wonjongkam, reigning for the second time as the lineal king of the division, was stopped in six rounds by journeyman Sonny Boy Jaro in six rounds. The 2012 race for Upset of the Year will have more candidates.
Jaro-Wonjongkam just opened a massive lead.
When signed, the fight had been largely derided as time wasted by a potential Hall of Famer in his twilight. It turned out twilight had already passed him by.
It’s an intriguing result when contrasted with what is to come on Saturday. Almost 36, Wladimir Klitschko reigns as the lineal Heavyweight king. Given his age and entering his sixtieth professional contest, Klitschko’s best days may soon be behind him.
Across the ring, he has a former Cruiserweight king no one is giving a chance. Can lightning strike twice on the same weekend?
Well…

We can't. We'll end up being labelled as racist by Tunney and the other klit-lickers
Sure we can. This was a bull**** fight. F anyone that thinks otherwise. Hows that?
Boxing fans should be infuriated to see a heavyweight championship fight, once among the biggest events in the sporting world, maybe the biggest, be reduced to this.

Klitschko is just too good and his opponents are just too unwilling to fight. It is what it is.
But what will happen if they try to fight? They'll get bludgeoned into retirement.
Haye was the only guy with a plan and the speed and power to have any chance to put it into action. He tried and he got comfortably beaten.
Wlad's skill, physical advantages and willingness to keep working have made him invincible in today's heavyweight division.
Did Mormeck throw more than 10 punches during the whole fight?
Not even joking, I think he threw 5 or 6. And about 3 or 4 of those were in the 4th when he got knocked out.
enough of this crap. it's time the governing bodies of the various belts just make the other Klitschko the mandatory and strip them of their titles if they won't fight each other.
Why are people so shocked? Theres a reason he was a 80-1 underdog on every betting site? When was last time you saw 80-1 in a Boxing match?
It was a stay busy fight because there was nobody else for them to fight, let Wlad sitout inactive? Why not take a stay busy fight.
