I see your point but try sparring for 6 rounds with a body puncher, where's you down. Khan got caught up top and to the body and probably had trouble Making weight. These dudes could trade victories unlike Maidana who is limited in the skills department but the first fight was great and Ariza will need to help Khan with his stamina.
He wasn't always like that :lol1:.
He has been with me,a lot of people bad mouth Wazz but he is a joker it's all in good fun..He really is a pretty knowledgeable fight fan,he just loves his Khan(nothing wrong with that)...
was it just me or if khan just traded in the middle of the ring he would have won easily? I felt like from round 5 on the only times peterson landed anything good was when he got khan on the ropes and worked inside to the body and then mixed in some uppercuts/hooks.
Then you've been reading more posts about wazaa made by idiots than actual posts made by wazaa., :lol1:
I guess I have... I saw a couple he made which was obvious nut hugging (trust me they were) and automatically grouped him with certain people.
I did see the post he made about being scared or worried about Peterson... but I assumed it was like I said earlier.
Like a stand up poster and G I knew you was,I bet Dirk won't be as stand up tho..Much props and green for ya brother, for being stand up...:headbang:

I'll make a thread about it when I return from the library. I've got exams coming up so I gotta study.
In short:
Lamont deserved the win. He fought his ass off and I'm very happy for him. Amir couldn't have lost to a more respectful guy than Lamont.
With that said, the fight was very close and could have gone either way. Even though Lamont deserves all the props, Amir partly has himself to blame for shelling up too often, not throwing combos and showing too much bravado.

Damn I can't give ya anymore green right now Wazz,I got ya tho..
wherever it makes sense financially. probably the same place. why las vegas? neither guy is mexican and neither a big draw in the US.
the only other place is in the UK, but we all can agree it will never happen, UK reffing is horrible.
Maybe New York, apart of another big fight?

Good take on the fight Wazza.
Of course they want a rematch, we all do.
This time of course they're going to secure a win for Khan by giving him a favorable ref and judges.
yup, this is exactly what is going to happen again. better call up cortez.

This response actually surprised me....
Khan was man enough to come to Washington, is Lamont man enough to come to England????
He really had no choice in the matter, this fight would not have been as big in Vegas, and noway Peterson was going to the UK..But maybe now he will..

That one judge had it 115-110 in Khans favor... would have been 117-110 without the deductions. Even without the deductions... you think that was a favorable score?
Then Khan gets all butthurt and blames the city and the judges... really?
