I think cotto will be alot smarter in the rematch and not punch himself out, and allow margarito to corner him on the ropes like the last fight, the last fight cotto was putting on a boxing clinique up until the later rounds, i didnt know he had that in him even in losing he showed something great.

Who are we to judge, mostly everyone on here doesnt box and wouldnt know what it feels like to get beat up like these boxers do.. most of these guys have never been in a fight where they were left bruised and bloody gotten up from knockdowns takiing punishment to the face and body and continued to fight.. but after taking a beating alot of guys lose confidence and lose hope and decide not to continue, can you blame them? could you take the punishment some of these guys take? didnt think so.. My view has actually changed, I always thought Meldrick should of won this fight but looking back at it although Meldrick was schooling Chavez, Chavez was also landing some very hard shots that would obviously take there toll near the end of the fight, I mean he had Meldrick pissing blood after the fight for ****s sake. This is my favorite fight of all time, I would of liked to seen him win because Meldrick is one of my favorite fighters and yeah he deserved to win, after such a great performance but then you got to look at it from the Steels point of view.. He was just doing what he was suppose to do, protect the fighter from taking anymore punishment.. yeah the light signaled that there was only 10 seconds left but did steel know this? Meldrick had just been badly hurt and was holding on to the ropes all dissorientated and was not answering back to Steel.. so Steel had no choice but to wave it off.. With all that was going on I think the last thing he would of noticed would of been that light that signaled the 10 seconds left of the fight. Chavez might of won but he was outclassed that night.

Im a fan of Floyd as a fighter but not Floyd as a person.. hes unwillingness to fight the guys who matter in hes division and who the fans want him to fight Mayweather doesn't care about the fans so why should we care about him .. he's no longer relevant to me and i will just keep watching the guys who want to prove themself as the best and who aren't afraid of fighting the best out there like Pacquiao.

cheers man, im with u on Haye, i was all for him when he was talking shit about the klit brothers but after he pulled out of 2 fights and signed to fight Valeuv (who he previously stated was a joke and had no interest in fighting him) he needs to put up and shut up. But i really dont like Valeuv so i hope Haye retires him and actually fights either/both brothers after that. Never been a really big Haye fan too much talk and not enough bite, but I don't really discredit him for pulling out of the Klit fight I heard the terms of the contract he had to sign was ridiculous.

nobody is saying Kessler is Ali or an ATG. He is a very good fighter and the most proven in this tournament and the rightly favorite. and thats it. Pretty much, I don't see anyone saying he's a ATG.. just that he has the potential to beat everyone in the tournament and SMW division.
