after seeing Mayorga getting pummeled, but still in it, I put him on the list. also gonna go for barrera & morales as well after all the punches traded in their wars.
deus, while i don't question ur knowledge or KT's chin, im curious how u came by this decision? who has he actually faced that's hit him hard/often that he sustained & won?
i think it's all publicity, and i think the fight will go down, there's just toooo much money for a fight with these 2 guys, moreso than anyone else in the devision, for them to pass it up.
yeh, i talked to a british buddy of mine who had followed prince pretty well, and it seems that he just had made so much money, that once he lost he just didn't have a good reason to come back. quite dissapointing
1) Kostya Tszyu
2) Felix "TITO" Trinidad
3) Jeff "LEFT HOOK" Lacy
4) James "LIGHTS OUT" Toney
5) Diego "CHICO" Corrales
6) Arturu "THUNDER" Gatti
OH, and just for sh&ts & giggles, the ONE FIGHTER i hate and will absolutely never ever ever ever root FOR, COREY "I Run More than a marathon runner" SPINKS :-) Say what you want about true boxer blah blah, he's just flat out boring to watch, except when Zab is knockin his ass OUT
i don't personally enjoy Byrd fights, but after meeting the guy, and seeing just how small of a heavyweight he is, it's quite impressive his streak of wins, and i do give him respect for that.
luckily my TIVO stayed true. However, FOOLISH ME wanted to check the forums during the undercards, forgot i wasn't watching live! ARGH!!! :-) But yes, nice knockout, but again, Rancho Ramirez is WAYY past any sort of prime
yeh, i agree with milk, Rocky isn't up there quite yet. He's gotta beat a top 10-er first, in the meantime, he's just beaten ESPN FNF competition, and hasn't seen the likes that Pac-man has faced.
am i the only one that hasn't been very impressed with any of these guys? but yeh, my vote goes to Marquez, but that's based off 1 fight of his i've seen
Um, gotta be Sheika-Pemberton 1 & 2, close second tho is Barrera-Pacquiao.
best in person was the most recent Toney fight...cuz it was my 3rd in person, but first with a big name. It's just so great in person, DAMN being ppoor!
is anyone really that surprised? Marquez did basically the same thing against Manny, just took him 1 round & 3 knockdowns to figure it out. Morales is a smart, experienced fighter...and Manny's Power didn't hold up in the higher weight class
I could be wrong, but Quartey's not the youngest guy around, right?
Either way, BHop won't fight Quartey, cuz the public has no clue who he is = no PPV = no BHop.
Next Hop fight's gotta be against J-Taylor, and that would easily be a PPV'er
hey Hurlex, but don't u think that Judah would really be hurt and his power wouldn't be felt as much at the higher weight? i mean, sure he hurt spinx, but only at the end of the 1st fight, mid 2nd, and still no 1 punch knockout
i thought it was 25?
edit: (lol, and while i realize this is a post, most of my posts have been real ones. Not like im asking when i have 25 exactly, and not like im plannin on stopping)
isn't this all on the assumption that Tszyu gets past Hatton
hahahahhahahahaha....ok, sorry, couldn't keep the serious face.
Anyhow, i would LOVE to see this fight, the first fight wasn't a FLUKE per say, but he did get that one great punch, like Tarver against RJJ, and Judah does have a lot of confidence right now. I still say Tszyu wins tho :-)
i guess im the only one that thinks hatton has a chance vs zoo
seriously? well, if u wanna see zab-zoo anytime soon, u should pray we're right
but seriously, hatton don't have a chance :-)
damn being poor & having basic cable :-( :-(
hopefully someone will get it up as a torrent soonafter! Only problem is avoiding this forum in between so not to be spoiled!!!
i know im a lil late to this party, but i just got a chance to see the Soliman fight, and i thought he was impressive. He looked much better than on the Fight on Fox Sports last year. A lil cocky for his age...but still, fun to watch IMO.
But let's be honest, Hopkins won't fight him, right? Although, his style against Hopkins sounds like it would be fun
