juarez threw the straight right and it knocked his opponent off his feet and straight back on the canvas, guy never had been ko'd in the first round either..juarez tko'd him with one second left in round one.
yeh, i agree with milk, Rocky isn't up there quite yet. He's gotta beat a top 10-er first, in the meantime, he's just beaten ESPN FNF competition, and hasn't seen the likes that Pac-man has faced.
I knew this fight would end this way. Juarez is the best (and most well rounded) featherweight right now. I hope I get to see him destroy Pacquiao someday, even though Manny and his camp would avoid him like the plague. :boxing:
Juarez is nothing to Pacman.
luckily my TIVO stayed true. However, FOOLISH ME wanted to check the forums during the undercards, forgot i wasn't watching live! ARGH!!! :-) But yes, nice knockout, but again, Rancho Ramirez is WAYY past any sort of prime
AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!
I just got back only to find my Tivo recorded some chick-program instead of my friday night boxing on ESPN2. AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't like to take anything away from Rocky but I say Ranchero Ramirez already a washed up fighter who lost to EM, Sanches, Espinosa, Velardes, Freitas, Martinez, Alberto, and now to Juarez. He is lucky to be in that eliminator fight despite being ranked 6th featherweight in the world.
I kinda agree with that, i dont think rocky's been fully tested, i also dont think he's fully shown his talent,if there's more there, maybe against Zahir Raheem, but that fight had a shitty ref, still I think even for Ramirez being a washed up dude, Rocky looked great, he MADE the other dude looked like the washed up fighter that maybe he is,still i expected ramirez to give more of a fight than that, but, either way, I give Rocky all credit.
Rocky didnt throw more than 1 or 2 punches until the first right hand..he just adapted to his opponents openings and exploited them, he's a good defensive fighter with good power and knows how to use that combination very well. Did you see Juarez' family after he tko'd him? "You don't want none of that!" lol
As for the undercard bouts, I thought it was cheap what that guy did, butted the other guy and then won the next 2 rounds punching at the cut until it got stopped and he ended up winning..I guess you gotta do what you gotta do, though..& Henry pulled off his decisive victory over that tomato can..
that last fight was pretty good as well, I'm glad I taped everything
a little off topic here...but I was wondering if anyone remembers or knows the name of the guy who won the decision on the undercard fight right before the Juarez fight came on?
Henry Crawford I think was his name.

Now, Juarez is a good prospect for pac,EM, MAB and JMM along with Joan Guzman. :)

Chi is a tough fucking customer. Dont expect Rocky to just walk through him. Itll be a great bout though
Juarez won't walk through Chi but he will definitely beat Chi. A straight banger like Chi won't fit well with a guy with Rocky's skills.

I feel rip-off. And it's a free fight. Just kidding. I was looking forward for more boxing, but hey, this is boxing. Chi should be a step up fight for Juarez. And I ain't gonna pick one so early.
:boxing:
I went running just as round 5 of the first fight was ending, come back and i missed the juarez fight and some other low level fight is on, what bad luck.
That was an impressive outing for Rocky...cant wait to see him take the title from Injin Chi. He will not have a problem "falling in love with power" in my mind. Tonight he just hurt his guy with the first punch and then went in for the kill, just as he should have. He will continue to fight smart, he is too experienced and well-rounded to do otherwise.
That was very impressive. Its almost like rameriez was falling in slow motion after that first right. Great performance and he is definetly ready for a title shot

Juarez looked great.Smart.Strong.Looks like he's improving that right.I never saw it coming, neither did ramirez,it landed flush. :boxing:
I hope he dosent just fall in love with power, if he stays a smart boxer, he has a great future IMO.
