I knew it would be a close one. its kind of a let-down to see Hopkins lose. In the hindsight, Hopkins could have dominated the fight much earlier than he did but instead he let Taylor control the fight with jabs. Maybe he's wary of the big right hand that's why. A rematch maybe?
check boxrec! how the hell did bobpac get a shot? do you think he has a chance? and will he have to fight his brother since who ever wins this fight gets a shot at barrera!
Wbc super featherweight title eliminator. on the under card of diego vs castillo rematch.LOL if BobbyPac wins he gets Barrera. haha Barrera-Pac Part 2 in a sense. Got a funny feeling that the judges will decide this one. :D
More rounds, 10 rds is ok, 12rds for the finals. Just show the hi-lights.
Less of the crying, emotional outbursts, intrigues etc.
Is that too much to ask? Maybe ESPN will do it better.
i didn't need no dictionary to tell me that and i dont live carrying a pocket dictionary to tell me things. but for natural reactions of people, beggin is askin many times. it just seemed that gatti didn't want it so bad, so he quitted. and he wasnt mad at his corner. 'nough said.
Than you have to watch the fight..in the corner he begged for one more round.i've watchedit, there's difference to asking for one more round and begging. begging is asking many times. i think gatti resigned to his fate and agreed to quit.
IMO presscons and weigh-ins can't be relied to when it comes to ring performance. i'm citing the tyson-mcbride fight, i'm pretty sure mcbride felt some fear too, but as the fight goes on, he became more and more confident. fear is ok as long as you overcome it.
well if you say gatti's scared of floyd, you can be right but i don't think so.
but i still think floyd will win though.
Begging is NOT asking many times, open a dictionary and find something like "to ask (earnestly) for"
Next time I will take better heed in the "your (think to) see" and "think (to know)" parts of your post.
A small count finally:
One more...one more round..one more.
;)didn't see this til today. is that how people beg? u should go out more. if you want something so bad, u "gatti" show it :D but apparently gatti want no more of floyd. to me he quitted and his corner saved his face.
I voted for Floyd. 18-3 odds now for him. Floyd is too quick, he'll land his hooks easily.
But Floyd-JUdah match is more interesting as the southpaw stance of zab may confuse floyd.
either match-up will do.
Tyson scared the crap out of seldon that's why he stayed down in their fight. seldon also said he's satisfied with his belt and don't want unification at that time. a real champ wouldnt say that.
tszyu is a dangerous man, zab judahs outboxing him, then he pulled two straights. same with what happened with sharmba mitchell, he was boxing good when tszyu got him.
well the fight with hatton he seemed tired even before the start. i'll bet on tszyu when this happens.
DLH-Quartey was indeed a robbery. Quartey dominated the fight, got careless in the end, but he's done enough to win. I dont know how the judges came up with the score. you dont score a match with a single round. its like they saw it coming or maybe they used some correction fluid. if they fight now, as a Quartey fan, id like DLH to get beat.
"would have knocked him out"? i saw that fight, u obviously werent paying attention. when the last round was over, vitali WALKED to his corner and sat down. lewis on the other hand WOBBLED and STAGGERED his way to his stool. and when he found out he was the winner, he stood up and with a blank look in his eye and no balance on his feet he raised his arms in victory and he looked like anything but a winner.
no, ruiz is not the man to beat, nor is byrd. but they were mandatories and they were contenders, and if lewis was as good as u say he was, he could have knocked them into next year, proved he was the best, and KEEP HIS TITLES. but he decided to take the safe road and not risk anything. he even said "I'm not touching Byrd." i dont think joe frazier ever said that about muhammad ali. i dont think marvin hagler ever said that about sugar ray leonard. lewis' play-it-safe style of life and style of fighting is a true disgrace to boxing.
i saw the fight too, about 5 times and obviously we saw diffent ones. i didn't see any wobble. before the fight was stopped, the workrate of vitali was continously dropping as he tired out very fast. if somebody here has the punch stats for that round its pretty clear who was winning. lennox was connecting with regularity and its just a matter of time really.
well byrd and ruiz, if lewis fought either one on his last fight and not vitali, there's someone who'll say he ducked vitali. give him a break.
Toney vs Klitschko you better get it on before I get mad. lol. i think this fight will go the full route. No way Toney can knock this guy out. Lewis fired his best shots at vitali but it dont register. If ever one of them goes down, it will be toney.

you was right on the legs, but calves are really thin for him, c'mon lets check it out saturday night, then tell me if its ok. ive always noticed that tyson calf evrytime he fights.
my idea of tyson redemption:
1. bring back and fight lennox and evander
2. take on vitali, brewster and byrd
If he can win all of them, he absolutely will redeem himself.
red menace, yeah, thats why he don't have good balance, his calves are thin for a man weighing 230, but of course, i didn't see it up close and personal, just on tv and videos.
