Kelly Brook beats Khan, Martinez, Manny, and Floyd all in one night without breaking a sweat. Kelly is the GOAT. Anyone who disagrees with me doesnt know **** about boxing!
most exciting young fighter out there, always in great fights. You will hear alot more about him in the coming years...
Rios is a good fighter who fights with heart and punches real hard but I don't think he is p4p material. I think he will loose sooner than later when he steps up in class but hey who knows he might prove me wrong!
Lets say he is a part of a group of fighters who have potential to become elite p4p fighters in the future along with Donaire, Bradley, Gamboa to name a few.
I think the more apt comparison is Amir Khan vs Paul Mccloskey. Except Barker put in more effort than Mccloskey.
Thats exactly what I thought after the fight, although this was a much more competitive and exciting fight
That would be awesome but its something that will never ever happen! These alphabet organizations are only there to make money plus the promoters love belts to build up hype jobs and make more money (JCC jnr, Canelo etc)
I think if I had done this poll before the floyd-orti fight, Ortiz would have gotten more votes, he is an extremely talented fighter but something doesnt seem to be right with him, he just isnt strong enough mentally and his personality is kind of wierd as well lol..
I like how honest Amir was in this interview. He was even honest about wanting to see Mayweather vs. Pacquiao and never knocked Mayweather or said Pacquiao would beat him or destroy him.
Yea I agree, I don't know why so many people hate on him here. He comes off really well in interviews. Its the stuff he posts on twitter which gets people hating i guess lol.
I still like Kell Brook, though he needs to start stepping up his competition.
Yeah Kell Brook seems good but I wanna see him fight a top 10 guy before i can make a judgement on him
yeah, the one who beat his ass in the rematch.
I mean it's not like other guys have lost or had close fights in this poll. It's not like the poll leader didn't get KTFO under 60 seconds or anything like that, right?
Yea I forgot to put his name in there, I think he just gassed out in the first fight, just threw too many punches trying to get Karass out of there. I wanna see him against someone like Berto or Ortiz, that would be a good match up.
Ariza was getting mad lol, I remember during the Margarito training camp, Ariza was really pissed off cuz Manny wasn't swimming and doing exactly as he wanted him to during training and Manny just laughed it off lol..
I agree, no human, ever, should be judged by how they carry themselves. As long they are successful, everyone should like them, as being successful is the ultimate prerequisite to being liked.
lol.. Even though I don't see it happening, I hope Ortiz knocks out Flyod. He needs to taste some humble pie. I am in awe of Flyods skills but will never be a 'fan' of the guy.
I'm a fan of what he does in the ring, but I have to admit that Amir is getting really annoying with the non stop talking. He hasn't even mentioned Lamont Peterson's name once unless it's to say 'I'm fighting Mayweather after Lamont Peterson'. Focus on what you have on your plate now or Peterson will catch you slipping. Leave fantasy fights in fantasy land.
Its not his fault if every other question put forward to him is abut floyd, he has to say something!
The fight was fixed I think,so how much do you think Zab was paid by the Asian Mafia to fix the match?
Much more than what your mom was paid by the mafia to blow me :blowjob:
Flyod isnt getting any younfer, and Khan seems to be improving with every fight. Stop believing that Manny and Flyod are gods who cannot be beaten. Believe it or not, they are humans!
Don't you also require the WBO belt to become undisputed. Also I'm pretty new to boxing, so how does this fight also involve the Ring magazine belt??
The Ring magazine belt isn't a belt of an actual sanctioning body, you don't have mandatories, get stripped etc from it.
But both fighters and fans rate the ring magazine belt as the most unbiased and hence credible reflection of the number 1 guy in the division.
All the other organizations are money grabbing buffoons with no credibility.
Sure, but I don't get how it's used for fights, i.e.- Khans previous fights never involved the Ring title, so then why would it be fought for in his next fight?
As far as I know, as of now, the ring championship at 140 is vacant, and that wont change until the #1guy (khan) fights the #2 guy (bradley)
