I think Khan is the future of boxing he is like a De La Hoya / Pacquaio hybrid, He has the skills, the money, the brains, and the movie star looks. I think he will go on to become one of the boxing Titans.
I know he has alot of haters but I honestly feel people will begin to appreciate him eventually regardless of his race and religion and appreciate him as a fighter.
Is Amir Khan The Future Of Boxing?
Brandon Rios is the future of boxing !
B-Rios is a KO waiting to happen, he thinks he has the Chin of Margarito.
Once he steps up in competition you'll see.
His best competition is Donaire, Gamboa, and Andre Ward...
Donaire, like De La Hoya, can be exciting, but can also be boring... But personally my favorite of the choices
Gamboa's one of those fighters where he only looks good against overmatched opponents. Otherwise, he wins, but he doesn't look good at all... Sometimes even looks HORRIBLE :0
And Andre Ward, (assuming he beats Froch, which is still a toss up IMO) is boring MOST of the time... Out of all of them, he may even be the top p4p for next gen fighters, but he'll never draw the crowds
Khan on the otherhand... He's exciting just about everytime. Even the fights people say are boring, the energy from the crowd really keeps u in there... At least when its live... He also has the biggest names in and around his weight class, and a bunch of really solid PPV worthy fights... Most (if not all) of which he would be the favorite in...
He may be
PS... No one dislikes Khan becuz of his race and religion. Just becuz ppl may mention it to insult him doesn't mean that that's the real reason. I'm sure 99% of the people on here that call Floyd a nigger, or call Manny some racist insult, isn't a true racist, they're just being *******s

Is Amir Khan The Future Of Boxing?
the money? why is that a necessity
the brains?! no two khan interviews are the same. he contradicts himself so often. and all round he just doesn't come across like someone who knows wtf hes talking about
movie star looks? i wouldnt go THAT far.
skills?! his skills are slightly over rated. he is pretty athletic and posses tremendous handspeed. his boxing fundamentals and skills are good. but still plenty of room for improvement.
i do like his attitude though and his willingness to fight the best. in 4/5 years if he is properly managed he could become a top earner and superstar. i just fear his suspect chin and leaky defense will get in his way
if Khans the future of this sport it will have hit an all time low, floored by Limond, blown away by Prescott, give me a break, he is promoted well and has all the suckers convinced but he is like a manufacterd pop star fake dull shallow and nothing but glitz and fan driven lifeless polished marketing machine.
I think that welter from Philly whats his name Mike Jones, I cant remember, but the kid IMO utter abuses Khan if they ever fight.
The future, Hmm Mikey Garcia comes to mind Brandon Rios does as well.
I'd say around 50% of posters on this forum are "in the closet" for the fighters on their avatar and sigs, based on the threads they make about them. "movie star good looks" lol.
Personally, I don't think a british fighter can carry boxing because their fans are so obnoxious. Once you go to a fight with drunken, loud mouth british fans(Malignaggi/Khan) you will NEVER root for a british fighter again.
So you were at Khan/Malignaggi? Btw, Those Drunk people were mostly White Brits who are a tiny minority of his fans, The majority being Asian and they mostly do not drink.
Lol. Maidana couldn't knock him down once.
Zabs left didn't even faze him. Only retards think he has a weak chin.
I think he's got the best chin in the 140 pound division.
no.
He certainly has the skills to be one of those fighters but i think his chin will let him down.
If his chin holds up against top competition at 147 then who knows.
I'm sure he will figure in the future of boxing, but he is by no means The One. I see him being the pick of the welterweight region for the foreseeable future after Mayweather and Pacquiao are gone, but I'd tip others to pip him for pound-for-pound glory.
