Who do you guys think will be the top dog in the 147 division after Flyod and Manny retire and why do you think so?
The three guys that I think would do real good are Bradley, Khan, and Robert Guerrero. Out of these three I think Bradley is the most complete fighter but Khan is the more talented one. However he still needs more experience and needs to work on his defense, and the lunging in problem that he has. RG is another fighter i am a big fan of and I think he would give anyone a run for their money.
Lets see if we can get a consensus through the poll
I think if I had done this poll before the floyd-orti fight, Ortiz would have gotten more votes, he is an extremely talented fighter but something doesnt seem to be right with him, he just isnt strong enough mentally and his personality is kind of wierd as well lol..
I still like Kell Brook, though he needs to start stepping up his competition.
YEP!
While I think everybody on that list is talented I don't think it will be NEITHER of them
someone new will come along and catch them all off guard and emerge as a star, it could Kell Brook, it could be Brad Solomon it could be Shawn Porter, Diego Gabriel Chaves from Agentena, Yourdinis Ugas some of these other prospect who are just at talented as the right...might actually be even more talented then the people on this list but because they don't have the Promotional Backing like the others people are not talking about them much...RIGHT NOW!
but if I really had to pick from that list, it would be Bradley and Guerrero, I think those are the most COMPLETE FIGHTERS on that list fight now...yeah everybody loves Khan but that dude has A LOT OF FLAWS AND WEAKNESSES but because he has GBP behind him they will pick and choose fights for him and protect him as much as they can
Brad Solomon
yeah, he's got a bright future. hopefully we hear about him more next year.
from the list though, it'd be khan or ortiz. guys like guerrero and matthysse still have ways to go imo.
yeah, the one who beat his ass in the rematch.
I mean it's not like other guys have lost or had close fights in this poll. It's not like the poll leader didn't get KTFO under 60 seconds or anything like that, right?
Yea I forgot to put his name in there, I think he just gassed out in the first fight, just threw too many punches trying to get Karass out of there. I wanna see him against someone like Berto or Ortiz, that would be a good match up.
Bradley is too small to dominate the 147 division.
I also think Guerrero won't be that great at 147. The guy isn't even proven at 140 yet.
Out of those three Khan will do the best at 147. I don't think Bradley even plans on fighting at 147, unless its for Pac or Floyd, but thats different.
Bradley is the same height as Pac and considerably bigger. The taller guys like Williams, Martinez and Cintron have moved up in weight. Sans Pac and Floyd, Bradley would certainly be in the mix at 147 if he moved up.

Ha Ha I used to think highly of jones but I leaned off.I know karas' is rugged but i just lost the spark for him after that fight. However,I do believe he beats berto. He's a tall WW,I just hope he utilizes his height.

NONE!! Try Brad Soloman...
At 147 a guy not mentioned is Thomas Dulorme.Very advanced skilled level, good defense, and packs a punch.I'm not saying he's gonna be the next superstar but very promising through time.
its real tough to tell yet as most aint even there at the min, but Ortiz aint to be written off just yet, Bradley for sure has the ability to dominate, Maidana and Guerrero i think is gona rise to the top, Khan has the speed and good at range but most of these guys will walk through Khan at this weight as he aint got pop, and loses his reach advantage and when under pressure looks troubled, at WW he is getting KO when he meets good competion.
Very Promising Prospect indeed, I agree that he needs a boost in his level of opposition.
Yeah Kell Brook seems good but I wanna see him fight a top 10 guy before i can make a judgement on him
True, it's impossible to tell with the competition he's fought. I was pretty impressed with Berto until I saw the Collazo fight and James Kirkland looked like a world beater against cans. But I like what I see from Brook so far.
