If Khan beat peterson, he wouldve made sense, but he didnt so here we are. cotto is a name (deservingly or not) and the fact that floyd is fighting him at 154 (where pacman was to too scared to fight cotto at even 150) will make the win more legit than the catchweight kings win over the " weight dead man walking version" of cotto.
now a for the fight, cotto is nowhere near floyds level. come fight night, just watch and see, mayweather will be physically stronger than cotto and I see cotto being humiliated in a gatti type type of fashion.

I don't think Mosley and Cotto belong in the hall of fame. Cotto just doesn't have a convincing win that stands out. I can go back and say I thought he lost against Clottey and Mosley and people will counter and say a win is a win. But to be a hall of famer you need to have a dominating win or a stoppage over at least two or three elite level fighters and Cotto doesn't have that. Neither does Mosley either really. The value of the hall of fame will be cheapened if they let guys like Gatti (I love Gatti, but come on), Hamed, Hatton, Cotto, and Mosley in.
