How CAN people FORGET SO EASILY?? This guy admitted he cheated and took illegal substances for his fights against De La hoya and for some of the "best" times in his career.
TELL ME, which are his biggest wins WITHOUT cheating?? This guy lost to Vernon Forrest TWICE, this guy lost Winky TWICE, this guy LOST to Cotto.
Is his best win, CLEAN, the fight against Margarito?? A fight where there was trouble at the scales and Marg had to lose an extra 2 unnecesary pounds?
The name is highly regarded to the point of overrated.
Mosley doesn't have a better career than Cotto, he had some GOOD wins in the 90's and others which were tainted by the use of EPO. Not to mention you don't know if he was using it back then.
Prove otherwise.
I don't think it puts a question mark on em I mean you can't just take roids and be good at base ball but it can help you hit those runs but I think with or with out then they'd be great but then again who in base ball isn't roiding up so I can't blame them
True enough, but you have to draw a line somewhere. Cheating is cheating, it doesn't matter if everyone is doing it.
I still consdier Barry Bonds and Alex Rodriguez, though they roided at points, to be great baseball players. Their careers just have big question marks of course.

Chill. Look at my post again: It was PAC-Boy I quoted not you. I haven't seen you doing any nuthugging.

Oh, my bad then. I thought when you said and here we have the nuthuggin from the other lunatic thing, it was a response to me being the other one, because I am not.
But, it's all good, my bad.
Notice how everyone stopped talking about all those homers that got hit in the '90s? That decade might as well never have happened as it's forever going to be associated with juicing.....and rightfully so!

And now we get the nuthuggery from the OTHER lunatic fringe :rolleyes9:

Lunatic???? No I am not. I am about as unbias a Floyd fan as you'll see. All I was saying was that there was a difference between the two fights. Had Floyd not fought Mosley than, people would have said he was ducking. The guy can do nothing right.
And if you're going to say I'm nuthuggin, then you've clearly never read a post of mine.
And all we get from you is the bias bulls**t hate on anything Floyd does, and yes I have actually read a lot of your posts.
^^^^^ Is that what you're trying to say? :thinking9:
If that's the case then why should any of us bother watching since it's as fake as pro wrestling?

I certainly think more boxers than most fans would like to believe are probably on PED's or have been on PED's at one point. Hey, I love Roy Jones, one of my favorites, but his career has a question mark next to it of course. Does that make me think Jones isn't an ATG and a really great fighter.....no, but his career has a question mark.
When people started thinking that MLB needing better drug testing, late 90's/early 00's, it was at it's height of PED use, and many huge names were on PED's. Boxing is at the point where a lot of people thinking better andom testing is needed for all notable bouts, and I am willing to believe the boxers that say they know tons of boxers are on PED's or have been. Do we think that Mosley and Jones, clearly the 2 largest names confirmed for PED use, are the only really big names that have????? I don't.
Fighting a washed-up Mosley doesn't do either Manny or Floyd any credit. Let's keep the hypocrisy to a minimum shall we.
Poet
Don't know how you can compare the wins. Mosley was coming off two consecutive knock outs, one over #1 WW Antonio Margarito, and the another against then top 10 JMW Ricardo Mayorga. When Pacquiao fought Mosley, he was coming off a loss to Floyd and a draw to Mora, who then Brian Vera beat.
But I know where you stand with Floyd, so a post like this from you is nothing strange at this point.
So did Floyd! :stupid:
Thought Shane was past his prime when both fought him, there is still a difference between the two. Floyd fought him coming off the Margarito win, which launched Mosley back into Top 10 P4P in the sport at the time, and when Pac didn't want to fight Shane at anything higher than 142. Manny fought him after getting whooped by Floyd and after he arguably lost to Sergio Mora. Shane was past his prime and not that good anymore in both fights, but Floyd fighting him when he did was still light years better than when Manny did.
To be honest I can understand where Bombs is coming from ( and I think the guy is an idiot). I think Mosley was fortunate that this happened before the age of media hysteria over every piece of information occurred.
At the end of the day, he cheated and like Margarito I don't believe his ignorance on what was being given to him. As such the bouts before the incident come under question.
moley is trash..cheated in his greatest wins was probly cheating at lw,
never beat any other greats....de la hoya wins dont count since he was doping
beat margartio who didnt have his plaster and whos mind was elsewhere and we all know was really never a great fighter to begin with....
looked like crap against mayorga, mora, mayweather and pacquaio ...
how is he even worthy of having the sugar nickname or even getting into the hall of fame?
hes trash and is just bending over for alvarez to get one last payday, he hasnt even beat anybody ranked at 154 to deserve a shot
f^&k SHAME MOSLEY!!!
Of course the PED's taint anything he's done, but his resume is as good as Cotto to me. Cotto ins his prime beat a past prime-still good Mosley, but it certainly wasn't a walk in the park, and was a pretty close fight in the end. If Mosley was prime, who knows. I'd rank Cotto higher all-time, but it's fairly close to me.
Mosley's notable wins: Holiday, Molina, Eduardo Morales, Leija, Rivera, De La Hoya, A. Diaz, Taylor, Cruz, Vargas, Collazo, Mayorga, and Margarito.
Cotto's notable wins: Bazan, Maussa, Sosa, N'dou, Pinto, Bailey, Corley, Torres, Branco, Malignaggi, Quintana, Judah, Mosley, Jennings, Clottey, Foreman, Mayorga, and Margarito.
It's fairly close, but when you look into the PED stuff with Shane, I'd give it to Cotto. Plus, Cotto beat Mosley H2H, when Shane could still fight.
Shane was a monster at lightweight. Friday night fights Ya'll talking crazy.
Shane was a monster at 135 because of his comp and the fact he was shrinking himself down to make weight and than blowing back up much the way Gatti did against Gamache. I personally don't feel he started juicing until he moved to 147 and figured he lost his advantage. That of course is only speculation.
I think some posters need to be banned and forced to read all their threads they've created and be able to post again when they realize how stupid they are.
