Floyd takes almost half a fight to adjust to lesser fighters than Manny.Manny has had the most trouble with counterpunchers but they were willing to slug it out with him and go to war. im betting 1,000 on Manny. I work at Mandalay Bay just across MGM. Hope i get to see Manny since he stays at Mandalay Bay on fight week. Also for a high price, i would be willing to find out where Floyd stays and poison his food on fight night for a 200% chance Pacquiao victory.
floyd might walk manny down when he has his timing down.but mannys a pretty hard guy to time with his feints and footspeed.if manny can take floyds power and just go ham it would be a fun fight.really a toss up fight.sleight edge to floyd but i will vote for a manny win cuz i like him more.
Both Floyd fans and Pac fans make good points.
I just have to point out that Floyd fans tend to underate PAC's IQ. On May 2nd, he isn't the only one who is able to adapt/adjust
Pac is dynamic, multi dimensional, and is experienced. And unlike Floyd's recent opponents... Pac can move his feet and has speed.
In the 2 Maidana fights, Floyd's legs seem to be not the same. Let's see if Pac is able to turn Floyd to land that left. Younger Floyd would use both his legs and reflexes. Current Floyd uses uses reads, hand eye coordination/reflexes to dodge punches. IMO, he will be hit with some combinations that you don't normally see him get hit with. We will see.

No he isn't. Sweet Pea is! It's not even close, man. You couldn't even hit Pea with a jab, consistently. His legs were gold. Floyd has been hit in the mouth, more than you'd like to admit. And on top of all of this, he got hit by many lesser fighters. He's never had to put his defense up against another primed A Level fighter. Whitaker did it against the very best. You think Maidana would've been busting Pea up like that? Nope. Not a chance. How about Corley? How about Cotto? Nope. Not a chance. Floyd has never had the best legs. He is a lateral defender. A reflexed defender. He doesn't care to be moving around the ring. His movement is from the waist up. Do your research before you spew out such disrespect.
i will stick with what i said, just my opinion. i like whitaker also. you prolly gonna get mad but i also think pacquiao is the best offensive fighter ever.
good for pacquiao because he no longer looks like a super saiyan unstoppable beast that put steroids on peoples minds and it probably gained floyd a lil more confidence in himself.
bad for jmm because he lost obv... and he looks like he isnt far away from chris benoit'ing himself and his family.
bad for floyd because he couldve beat pac that night and if he beats him in the future mexicans will say jmm did it first. and as floyd said mexicans are his greatest fans.

pac won that fight, what people really mean by jmm winning is that he didnt get knocked down again for the 800th time and survived till the end vs one of the greatest fighters who ever lived. i cant w8 for pac to destroy mayweather. he will get an EZ ud or late ko even. my god i am so sure pac will win ill even bet my jersey shore doll collection on it.
