Props to marquez for proving everyone, a true ATG
It nice to see all the ban-wagoners leave- true fans stick to their heroes
I find it funny how all the haters miraculously popped out of no where.
Tough fight with marquez doesn't necessarily means a guaranteed lost against Floyd or the end of the world.
I hope the floyd fights happen- its nice that pacquiao will be the underdog to prove someone is wrong!
This is just the beginning. When Mayweather beats him we'll find out who his true fans are.Remains to be seen. I don't know your true nationality but if a alleged el salvadoran like you can root for JMM or floyd, why can't true pinoy boxing fans can't?
Saw the top rank telecast live via PPV and was drinking a lot of beer. Didn't score the bout per round but based on the totality of what I saw, was convinced that JMM won.
Been here for 7 years and have seen the development of pac since his blow by blow days and one great fight against a great fighter like marquez won't diminish my admiration for the boxer called the pacman.

When Pacquiao beats Mayweather we'll find out who his real fans are too that's easy to say let's see what happens
hahahahahahaha ok...
What so you don't wanna see them fight let's just guess fights? Also yeh I do think he can still beat him if I say Pacquiao would beat Mayweather for sure I'd be lying and it goes both ways it's still a fight that needs to happen
I was a Pacquiao fan and I still am, also Marquez is just a very tough match-up for Pacquiao yeh Mayweather is too but I still think Pacquiao can beat Mayweather
hahahahahahaha ok...
these two are big pac haters esp that dude coltrane...he used to call pac "whacquiao" even after a big win....BIG MIKE is the coolest and most reasonable among them ...the bald guy (looks like a shorter version of glenn johnson) , i think his name is RADADAH is pretty cool aswell....
yeah, did not like how pac looked last saturday but im still a fan....exept when he's singing....

Still a Pac fan, never been off. The only thing i don't like about Pac is entering politics.
Yeah, i noticed that those so called Pac fans are now gone.
if he has any heart he would make the floyd fight..everyone is blaming arum but pac has a big say in this...it's obvious that pac loves the attention around him and the fame...he is happy with the leftovers he's fighting....he knows floyd whoop him and then the pac mania would stop..jmm exposed him AGAIN..the man is a sh1t boxer.
pac is nothing special..back in the days he used to get a beating in every fight..if he won it was by a close decision..jmm beat him twice years ago..morales beat him too...then he moved up in weight and arum matched him up against those weight drained damaged goods coming from big losses..finally someone was willing to fight him ..jmm beat him ..pac has done nothing for the sport except running and making up stories to duck mayweather.
it was beyond a "bad" outing... it was embarassing. marquez had all the cards stacked against him. he was supposed to be another victim to be run over and murdered, a trophy, a marketing tool, so that arum and roach can proclaim to the world once again that manny has transcended to the next level. that he could dominate anybody in his way but instead, it backfired on them big time. at the end of the day, he was outclassed by a 38 year old lightweight. "pacsmash 2.5" never had a chance against the #1 P4P in the world.
Agreed. Many fans were already starting to be turned off by the constant catch weights and stacked decks. The deck was stacked badly against marquez. Hes 38 and forced to come to a weight class he was shown to have problems with. After all that he still put in work on Manny. This fight backfired so bad that it forced top rank to enter damage control mode. The disconnect on this forum is astounding. In just one fight we see the divide between boxing fans who are also Manny fans and Pactards. The pacroid fans stick out like neon lights on this forum now. We need something like this to happen to Floyd too and then we'll really be cookin.

I love Pacquiao and will always have fond memories of him fighting but I think I'm kind of done with him now. Maybe not done with him, but done looking at him as some superhuman. If he fights JMM again I'll watch and surely enjoy it. But the fact remains in my eyes that the final frontier is Mayweather. I've always had the thought in the back of my head that Mayweather would win, but you'll never know until it happens. I've told my friends and family countless times that it goes 1. Christmas 2. Pacquiao fight 3. birthday in terms of things I look forward to. The fact that the day after JMM the word is he wants another fight and Mayweather can wait has made me lose my passion for him. Over the years I've gone from thinking Mayweather ducking Pac to Arum ducking May and now to Pac ducking Mayweather. There comes a point where Pac should just say to Arum I want Mayweather and the fact remains he hasnt dont that which makes me think he doesnt want to fight him at all. My anticipation for May/Pac started to dwindle after Pac signed to fight Clottey. If they ever do fight I'll watch, but it'll be because I need to see it more than wanting to see it if that makes any sense. Back in 2009 when they were suposed to fight I had set aside money to fly to vegas and was willing to spend 1000$ on a ticket, now just ordering it will do.
I mean... when was the last time Pac went against an effective counter puncher since last saturday? 3 years ago against the same person if i'm not wrong.
I'm not saying you didn't know what you said just now but will you tell us who are these great counter puncher like Marquez Pac should fought in every weight classes he was in? Except that coward who demanded a fake test, tell us who are they?
Pacquiao and Mayweather is a technical mismatch.
Most Pacquiao fans outside of the most irrational and unknowledgable know (even if they don't admit) that Mayweather will likely defeat Pacquiao. After such a tough fight with an old Marquez following all the talk about how Pacquiao is a different fighter and would blow him away it's no surprise this forum has lost a lot of its spunk.
Personally I think this forum is a better read without the massive amount of silly one liners from Pacquiao fans. Trash talk gets old.
Whatever anyone thinks as to who will win in this match-up, it doesn't mean anything unless it's proven inside the ring. Boxing history does not give any credit to coulda, woulda, or shoulda.
Pacquiao beats, Floyd.
Marquez performance didn't surprise me.
Roach and Pacquiao made a big mistake, they expect Marquez to be more aggressive.
Marquez got his foot work right, Pac got it wrong.
Pacquiao needed to up the pace and circle towards Marquez's left. Pacquiao kept trying to get his left into play but he should works more on the right hook and turning Marquez.
Floyd has a lot of flaws, Pacquiao can exploit, he is not Marquez.
The Marquez rematch is a tougher fight for Pacquiao than Mayweather.
lmfao...........yep and jabs don't count
