Who would be the betting favourite? Floyd or Sergio

I think the line would move Martinez as favorite based on the opening line with Mayweather slight favorite. Martinez would gain a lot of bets for the sake of the chance of winning while still underdog odds. Either way really the underdog would see heavy bets made.

As said before, Mayweather will be the favorite against whoever he faces at this point, guy hasn't been an underdog since the Corrales fight. Martinez would be a big underdog in the betting odds, but among hardcore boxing fans it'd be a pretty evenly matched fight.

Floyd would be the favorite and Martinez would break him down like a pro...even if they rob Martinez on the cards, the public will know who the real winner is. Late stoppage for Sergio, he catches Floyd with the left more than a few times and his activity is too much for Floyd to handle.

Floyd would be the favorite no matter who's the next "potential candidate" to beat Mayweather. Martínez is the guy that most deserves to fight Mayweather besides Pacquiao and Amir Khan but regardless of how good another fighter's chances are, Mayweather would be the favorite simply because he's undefeated and he's Mayweather. Not that it should make sense, but people would be hard-pressed to bet against him based on consistency alone.
