I hate to break it down for you morons.
But Broner got a glass chin.... I can smell a glass chin from a mile away.
2 things I'm great at in regards to watching boxing
1-Locating stupid fighters
(Pacquaio and Chavez Jr leads that pack)
2- Locating glass chins
I remember even as a god damn 7 year old I was calling Wlad a glass chin and that he will be exposed again... 2 years later.. he was knocked out by Sanders.
I CALLED Roy Jone's demise before it even happened. I'm like 'once his reflexes slow down, he will get KNOCKED THE FUK OUT' and he did.
Broner is from the same cloth of glass. .but lack the reflexes of Roy and the skills of Wladimir.
He's going down Plankquaio style the MOMENT he step up to 140 and it's gonna be beyond funny listening to all these retards cry,.
How do you know Broner has a glass jaw? Have you ever seen him rocked or even hurt?
Anyway, Broner unproven at 140, and I think Matthysse wins a decision, possibly even stopping him late.
I've only seen the Cloud fight so it's the only one I can comment on. Campillo got knocked down twice in the 1st but won majority of the subsequent rounds clearly.
Got robbed badly even Cloud's own mother fainted when the decision was announced lol.
Rosado has pretty good defense and power, will definitely be game and will make it competitive for as long as it lasts, but I got GGG to break him down and stop him mid-way through the fight.
Financially, it's the fight that makes the most sense in boxing right now. Why isn't Vitali stepping up to the plate? Bonte obviously has a hand in this.
bradley woulda gotten knocked out. his broken foot made him fight backwards.
I somewhat agree. Bradley would've been more aggressive like he was in the first few rounds. Don't think he would've got knocked out though, but most probably knocked down.
He can't stay on the outside it's just not his game. He did his pretend boxer thing as well as he could the first time.
I agree. He tried it in the first fight but everytime he got tagged, he just went back to brawling.
Marquez been knocked down about a million times but he always gets back up. I remember when Katsidis knocked him down with the left hook in the 3rd, I thought at Marquez's age, it would be over for him. He proved me wrong. What a warrior.
Broner just trying to get some attention. He's trying to emulate Floyd but I don't think he's as smart as him when it comes to trash talk...and that's saying a lot.
Well he's not lying now. Trout is a problem, which is probably why GBP cancalled the fight. But I don't think Canelo is as bad as some people make him out to be. He's a good fighter.
I think that would've probably still been his only loss. He would've still picked the careful fights, but it's hard to tell if the riskier fights meant more money. Nowadays he could just about fight anyone and still make a tonne of cash.
Johnson is just a punch bag these days, he can't pull the trigger. Groves got the job done and it's a name on his CV. He looks a decent offensive fighter but I'm not sure about his ability to take a big punch. Kenny Anderson planted him on his arse, and the likes of Froch would spark him out.
I agree, Johnson had so many times to throw the right and land but couldn't pull the trigger. Groves is a good fighter but I think he'll get stopped by a big puncher who comes to fight, such as Abraham.
Boxing has always been classy and has always brought out the celebs. I was a bit surprised to see Andy Murray at the Haye-Chisora fight, so was my mates.
It's so sad but not uprising. Pacman has been in so many wars throughout his career, and against bigger men. That will take a toll on anyone. I hope Freddie also convinces him to hang up the gloves soon.
I'm not really rooting for anyone, although I'd prefer Garcia to win simply because I want to see him fight Matthysse or Rios, which is still unlikely but you can always hope.
I like triple GGG and I think he'd so good things in 2013, but he's still unproven. Wait til he steps up the competition and then we'll see if he's the real deal.
Everytime the question pops up, Maidana never seems keen to fight Matthysse. It would be a total war which I think Matthysse wins.
Anyway, Maidana's at welterweight now so it only makes sense for him to pick up a strap the easiest route possible via Malinaggi.
I doubt Lundy beats Matthysse. Lundy had a tough fight with Diaz and lost to Pacquiao's sparring partner Ray Beltran.
I also doubt that GB makes Matthysse vs Garcia. Matthysse is not really a draw and far too risky. I would love to see the fight though.
Of course Donaire vs Mares is the better fight, both financially and competitively, but I doubt it happens.
I like Rigo but it appears that he cannot hold a punch. Got rocked twice with left hooks by Marroquin, what do you think Donaire will do with his left hooks?
Interesting fight. Mitchell gets a bit wild sometimes, and ends up swinging for the fences...and missing. He needs to improve his balance, patience and defense.
Matthysse can box or bang, but ever since the two questionable losses, he has stepped on the gas to get the stoppage.
Garcia can also box or bang, but I don't think he'll have the firepower or defense to cause too many problems for Matthysse. I got Lucas by late stoppage.
Good list. I had one of the fights the same. Here's my top 5 dream fights of 2013 with predictions - http://www.mightyfighter.com/top-5-dream-fights-2013/
I doubt Martinez gets that fight, unless he's willing to go 154 or below. It'll be so tough for him to make that weight, so that's a good thing for Floyd.
