I'll say this, with all prejudice up front. I am a Mayweather fan and a Huge Marquez fan. I love pure boxing, but this interview makes me a bit sick. I hope its enough to stick a spark in manny's ass and give him the wherewithal to train his ass off and give a couple more amazing performances.
It pains me to see him unable to express what he thinks truly and there are instances when I want to see him stand up, slam on the table, and say to those morons (the commentators) that he IS and all time great and that he is not just a punch in bunch fighter. He has developed and incredible skill set from years ago and is truly a complete top two pound for pound fighter. whether he has it left in the tank is another issue but to get round robin punked like that by a hack boxing analist is shame.
War pacquiao! Even though I might root against you. You deserve it.
I just can't see anyone humiliating floyd, no way. I'm not even a huge mayweather fan I just love technique but in the case of amazingly gifted athletes, pacquiao being one of them, athletisism can trump skill. Mayweather has almost perfect skill, so in my mind its supreme skill versus superhuman athletisism
Lots of action but I Arreola has pedigree and is the future I feel bad for the heavyweight division. He threw nothing with any kind of technique. Nice knockdowns though!
It's not so much the speed or technique its more about the timing and variation of punches. He mixes in these double uppercuts and straight rights like out of no where. His footwork is pretty basic to but his rhythm is perfect.
I think that technically jose luis castillo is way ahead of hatton in affective aggresiveness. Cottos defence is just way too open. PBF Would most likely pick him off and move around enought to pretty much shut down hatton. Cotto can pick up the pace a little bit can hit pbf much more accurately and frequently than hatton could ever. This is just my opinion thought. I may be wrong
First post by the way
Definately rooting for arnaoutis. Been a big fan since his first showing on shobox. Slick kid and he can take some punches. Although i think torress is one of the hardest pure punchers in the division
Castillo hits much harder than anyone Cotto's faced, and he can hit like that for 12 rounds.
I disagree with that. I think that torres packed a much bigger punch than castillo. But I agree with you when you say castillo is consistent with his power thoughout a fight. More accurate as well
Juan Manuel,
Im probably one of your biggest fans. What do you feel is the most important moment in your career as of date? Who did you look at for inspiration when you were comming up in the ranks? Who's the next possible oppenent and are there any negotiations going on that look positive?
Mike,
To Date what is the opponent you feel has been the biggest challenge for you. Ive been following you for a couple of years now and have seen most of your fights. Whats the game plan for the future?
juan,
I realy enjoy watching the way you cut off the ring. What is your favorite punch when on the inside of your opponent
What do you think about a possible match up between Mike Arnautis and Miguel Cotto. Having faught both before what would you expect to be the outcome.
The reason is he is cherry picking his fights like RJJ did, he skipped 140 w/ Hatton and Cotto. And remeber I told you he'd do this almost a year ago on this very board, hed skip over all these guys and eventually for money hed go after Zab. If wants to be considered the best?? Beat Margarito, Hatton, Tszyu, and since he talk a lot of shit on WInky beat him too, and while your up at 154 beat Ouma while ur at it. But I would consider him the best if beats the first 3 i mentioned by this time next year
jesus you are a tough critic. Im not really a floyd fan but I appreciate his skill. Hatton and Cotto also appreciate that very skill since NEITHER of them are willing to fight him yet. The only fights out there for him are zab and margarito at this weight. Margarito is a no money fight for now until he beats a top 5 fighter in that division. Zab is a draw and style wise this is a very interesting fight. Cut him some slack
i saw the fight and thought collazo won by at least two points..then i went back and watched the fight over and scored it..i came out with 115 112 hatton. I am a collazo supporter
looks like he keeps that lead shoulder up nicely when hes on the defensive. Id like to see some clips of high getting hit with a couple of combos and see how he handles it.
Looks really promising
i think jjl was too experienced for panchito. Dont forget that while not exactly elite leija is a seasoned veteran and knew how to fight a much more tallented bojado
it's on ta 10 digit scale now homie. Ima let ya'll know come January. Ta biggest :Pwnage of Morales fanbois gonna come soon. Pac TKO Morales LATE!
Pac wit them Cleto and refined Manila Ice, awww shyt, we gonna do tis man. Once Pac lands that ice followed by ta vicious left it's a wrap fo him (Morales).
huh? If The opinion of the doctor is that he can't fight, then he shouldn't fight. The real problem with that injury isn't the fact that its painful. The real severity of the injury is that it hurts his mobility. If he can't move side to side it hurts his ability to move away from punches. He is getting his belt stripped which is the honest thing to happen. If he doesnt recover then thats that. If he does then he should get a legitimate shot at the title whether rock holds it or not.
