Hey guys im new to this forum. Ive been lurking around for a while and figured it was time to post.
A while back i was a big fan of panchito bojado. I really loved to watch the kid fight but i seems as though he disappeared after the jesse leija fight. Anyone know whats up? TIA
LoL!
If Panchitos got so many skills and lost to Leija
Then why do people call Gatti such a big bum when he destroyed Leija?
Either Panchitos overrated or Gattis skill is underrated:D
Panchito vs. Leija was about 145 lbs vs. 145 lbs
Gatti vs. Leija was 160 lbs vs. 145 lbs
not even the same type of match-up, Gatti doesn't break any rules but he is always much bigger than his opponent on fight night, so his win over a midget in Leija doesn't weigh very heavily
Out of all three you just named, one has lost twice, one should have lost and will lose once he stops fighting pushovers and one is a champion already and a decent fighter, but he will no longer have his title once he fights any of the other title holders in that division...And no I don't like the way some of these new school fighters pook their chest out because they have beaten a few bums...Like someone said once before "if you play a video game on the easiest level and beat the game, what have you really accomplished"?
Look at the records of the past great champs...they all lose a few early on. You dont like his ring walk..okay, got it. Like them or not, these guys (among others) are boxings future.
what happened to panchito
Parading around? So, you dont like the way he walks in the ring?? You cant be serious...he's young and cocky and acts just like any other young and cocky fighter and nobody faults them for it. YES...I would be fine with him representing the future..him and Juarez and Diaz and all other young fighters.

Damn it sounds like you should be his manager. I have watched everone of bojado's televised fight and he did have hand picked opposition like ricky hatton. He's just not good. He was put in their with average fighters and couldn't get the job done plain and simple. I respect all talent young and old, it's just he was parading around like he was fernando vargas and the next best thing to oscar de la hoya and got beat by fighters that were past their prime...Where is his talent? You really want Bojado to respresent the future of boxing?

dont believe it's a bojado 'bashing' thread...some of you just decided to turn it into one, while others appreciate todays young talents (cause they are the future) and see alot of potential in the boy. does he deserve the exact amount of attention and fan fare he's gotten so early?? (does hatton deserve all the love either? NO, not with the handpicked opposition in his own backyard) Maybe not, but it's not something I'll hold against him, and no fighter out there would turn that down anyway. He doesnt hype himself up; the press and the fans do that. Just cause he failed to live up to that hype at a young age doesnt make him garbage or a bum. Some of us are more than willing to let him take the time to grow, and grow up. In the future if he's lead right and trained properly he can go far.

I always thought that bojado sucked, but i think that way about a lot of fighters. Leija is garbage and gatti is overrated, he is on that ricky hatton diet too...I don't want to turn this into a gatti and mayweather thread...This is a bojado bashing thread and I want to keep it that day...We can debate about gatti after he gets "thrashed" in the mayweather fight, if you still want to speak on gatti once he gets dealt wit :boxing: ..

Yeah he lost twice, and his second lost was to a guy that retired after getting beaten soundly in his next fight...They should have kept panchito on that ricky hatton diet, actually they were trying, but he couldn't even manage to beat the leftovers they were throwing in the ring with him...

i dont think so
i stil think of him the same
never though to if him as boxings savior

just as a kid with boxing skillz and dat could also punch
he just lost

I mean
they should be giving credit to other fighters for doing real stuff
and let panchito beat some real names b4 givin him all that attention..
i think jjl was too experienced for panchito. Dont forget that while not exactly elite leija is a seasoned veteran and knew how to fight a much more tallented bojado
Bojado=overrated

Panchito was a boy in a man's game, and his youthfulness showed vs. Leija, when Francisco got trapped in the corner he had no answers for Jesse James & he got raked over the coals, it would be best for him to bulk up and learn some better D before fighting elite competition again
The sad thing is that JJL wasn't even elite.

didn't he lose his last fight against Leija or someone? He has no heart if you ask me.
He has heart, he just needs to get with a good camp that can help him further develop his skill. He is a good fighter, but he appears to be a boy fighting amongst men as of late...

Yes he lost to Leija, but I disagree about him not having heart. He's still so young...far to young to question his heart.
First of all, welcome to the site.
I'm not sure whats up with Bojado, but unlike alot of people around here, I dont think he's "done"..not in any sense of the word. I very much look forward to him getting back in the ring and still think he has plenty of potential and his entire future ahead of him.
