Thread title should be 'Marquez tells Pacquiao he thinks he would lose against FMJ'
regardless, JMM probably wouldn't think that if he had not been forced to jump two divisions to fight a 147lb version of FMJ
and of course he's not going to say Pac would beat someone he lost to (even if JMM was robbed before he even got in the ring)
I'll say this, with all prejudice up front. I am a Mayweather fan and a Huge Marquez fan. I love pure boxing, but this interview makes me a bit sick. I hope its enough to stick a spark in manny's ass and give him the wherewithal to train his ass off and give a couple more amazing performances.
It pains me to see him unable to express what he thinks truly and there are instances when I want to see him stand up, slam on the table, and say to those morons (the commentators) that he IS and all time great and that he is not just a punch in bunch fighter. He has developed and incredible skill set from years ago and is truly a complete top two pound for pound fighter. whether he has it left in the tank is another issue but to get round robin punked like that by a hack boxing analist is shame.
War pacquiao! Even though I might root against you. You deserve it.
marquez will be knocked out this december, he will retire from boxing and that's the end of it. as for pacquiao, bigger and greater things await. pacquiao has had enough of marquez's allegations and is determined more than ever to show why he's called the mexicutioner.
Bradley moved up weight, got hit more, and Manny was more aggressive. Still couldn't knock Bradley out.

thats his opinion and i respect that, i also believe the same, but the only person who doesnt is floyd, someone who has been following the sport for years now knows that, and it can be read between the lines of floyd and even with the latest 50-manny venture thing, this is too obvious psychology and physically that floyd is the one running away but it doesnt change my opinion that he can beat pacman.
so JMM hits harder than floyd? bwahaha
I don't think anyone said JMM hits harder than floyd because he doesn't. I think you just inferenced it from the post... if he did mean that ... well I'm at a loss. I think he was saying JMM made pac respect his power, over three fights, and Floyd hasn't been in there yet to make him respect his.
Yup, who is the bigger fool.. when a lot of analyst and boxing fans thinks he (Floyd) will win, but for some reason he still doesn't want to come of his rat hole lol..
Who is the bigger fool...
Here's something to think about from Floyds position... Either keep your legacy intact and since you've had the longer, and better career, be known as the best fighter of your era... OR potentially lose a guy you were supposed to beat and perhaps lose all the accolades and praises you've gotten throughout your career.
I think Floyd wants the fight, I just don't think he wants to tarnish his career. I think if he loses he'll fight Manny without a problem though.
if only Floyd would stop ducking Manny....

Man, Marquez's English has really improved. IMO it's even better than Manny's now. Manny was almost like a stuttering fool in there.
I'd stutter too if I was invited onto an interview where I can't even have a chance to talk
Marquez is gonna KO Pac and end the controversy.
Very true. And if Pac KOs JMM, Pac would have to rematch Bradley, and on and on...
Pac has to fight five more fights before Floyd starts growing balls. While Floyd only has to fight once a year. Makes perfect sense. The playing field has to be completely leveled for Floyd.
not true at all....the more agressive a fighter is , the more floyd hides to his shell ..now , when the offense stops is when he attacks ..altho floyd counters , most of the time with pitty pat punches in the heat of the moment....he is that defensive
congrats on having a nice post.:D
In the Middle of the ring Floyd will win it easily. His style is perfect for that. Manny's best shot is on the ropes but the thing is that Floyd is really good fighting backwards. The thing about Floyd is he really does know how to adjust his to how his opponent is fighting. Manny is just too open when he attacks and that is his main issue. He will always be off balance because he likes to hop around. Floyd the type of fight that attacks then move. He will hit you and move to a different direction or right after he hits you he goes back into his defensive stance and circles you. Manny can't fight well on the inside, Floyd fights very well on the inside.
