This site is only good for news... I can't believe the things some people say here lol !! Then they think that, because the got high. " rep power or a bunch of green K" that it makes them an expert at everything about boxing HAHA!! I got "alt" accounts been coming on this site since 2009 the only reason i never made a count till years later was, because this isn't a really good place to discus boxing... To many fan boys, couch coaches. GREAT FOR NEWS THOU
Erik Morales vs Manny Pacquiao 1- no one could forget El Terrible turning south paw & beating PAC in that fashion.
Morales vs BARRERA 1- a very close 11 round brawl & then BARRERA scores the kd & Morales attacking till the final bell.
Chavez vs Taylor 1- Chavez behind on all cards & stopping Taylor with one second left
De La Hoya vs bazooka
Mosley vs Mayorga
Bowe vs Hollyfield
If Cotto wins it'll be the best victory any boxer has had since Marquez put PAC to sleep. I'm rooting for Cotto all the way, but Sergio has everything necessary in his arsenal to beat & even stop Cotto IMO. COTTO ALL THE WAY THOU!!!
Without a doubt, it goes like this:
1) Pacquiao
2) Golovkin
3) De La Hoya
4) Marquez (PED version)
5) Cotto
6) Margarito (plaster version)
7) Mosley (on EPO)
8) Canelo
9) Gatti
10) Hatton
WHAT IN GODS NAME HAS GGG done at 140-154??? Or better yet his division? I like him allot, but very unproven & over rated... Also Hatton & Gatti??? Really? They are both very entertaining & I'm a big fan of both, but c'mon. Also what's with all the hate at the other fighters?
I've always said that Floyd is nothing special & is at best a C+ fighter if that. If you stick him in with the all time welter's or any weight class he's fought in he simply won't be able to compete against them. He barely gets by ok fighters, fighters that were once great (ODH/Mosley) even being shot & over the hill gave Floyd all he could handle. He has no signature win, never given the fans a clasic fight to look back & say damn what a war. His only "claim" to being great was hanging on to that 0 AT ALL COST. Even if meant taking BS "retirements", the outrageous excuses he's made to avoid certain fighters. He never competed with the greats of his time I'll even go as far saying he never even fought the best of his time. So how can he be an ATG.
Ignoring the promotion/network barriers, I'd go with something like this:
Pac vs Floyd
Thurman vs Brook
Porter vs D.Garcia
Loma vs Mares
Can't believe I forgot Kell Brook in the mix! I'd love to see him with any top welter.
Why in a dream world of infinite possibilities, do people have dream PPV cards? Why not have a dream free network tv card? Even in your dreams, you purposely choose to get ass****ed by promoters by paying $70 for a decent fight.
Uh... Ok then.. 4 dream matches, better?
He refused & still refuses to fight the elite fighters on his era... So HOW ON EARTH are we gonna compare him with the greats of all time??? He's the biggest hype Job EVER, self proclaimed great, but never wanted to prove it.. His only "claim" to being grat is his "0" which we all know what extremes he's gone to avoid losing it.. Pathetic paper champ is all he is.
Cotto vs Canelo
Loma vs Rigo
Crawford vs Walters
Mares vs Santa Cruz
Porter vs Ruslan
Maidana vs Brooke
Garcia vs Thurman
GGG vs Ward
PAC vs Garcia
JMM vs Lucas
Erik Morales vs Pacquiao 1/ 12th round. That's what boxing is all about. We need more like him.
Hollyfield vs Bowe 1- Bowe landed some shots that should have put Hollyfield out for good, but kept coming.
Gomez vs Pintor- no need to explain this one.
Carbajal vs Gonzales
Motales vs Maidana- way past his prime in a weight class he didn't belong in against one of the biggest punchers everyone talked as if Morales would get killed. Yet he fought with one eye & did enough to win in the eyes of many to include people who doubted him. Lost officially, but didn't matter after the way he performed
To many to mention fughters always show courage & heart just stepping in there. Those are just some that stand out.
The Chavez Sr.-Haugen beat down was great, I wasn't alive back then but I did go on youtube and watch that fight.
All the trash talking from Haugen was what it even better. Chavez pretty toyed with him till he decided to send him home early in front of over one hundred thousand fans in Mexico... Epic.
Chavez sr beating Haugen was epic!
Barrera embarrassing Hammed
Barrera destroying mckiney
Maidana battering Broner was great
I also enjoyed Floyd schooling Guerrero. Guerrero was so annoying trying to land that fight & Floyd showed why he didn't belong with the elite.
Garcia vs khan

Garcia vs khan
great one, i really enjoyed it
It was I really wanted hammed to stick around after. The division was hot back then. I would of loved seen him against Morales or Marquez back then.
Mares is way to small for Gamboa.
Salido vs Gamboa
LSC vs Rigo
Mexico wins both. Santa Cruz's presure will be to much for Rigo. Salido will ko Gamboa in the late rounds.
I agree. Being a fan of certain fighters solely because of race, nationality ect is just pain dumb & if someone does do that then it's shame because they will be cheating them selves out of allot of great fights simply because they only watch their own race fight. Great fighters come from all over the globe, different colors & speak different languages. I'm a fan of any fighter I like regardless of where they are from.
Depends on who he fights next. He would be dismantled by Matthysse. I think Peterson could out work him. Garcia already showed he has trouble with those types. Pac destroys him....
You know I was just thinking that my self. If Algeri wants to expand his name I say he goes after Garcia & unify that'll take him to another level. Like you said he has trouble with those guys & I can see Algeri out boxing him easy 9-3 rds.
Yeah true to a certain point. It's because they aren't fighting their fight they are good at presure & when they don't fight their fight yeah they aren't as effective, but that can be done to any style boxer if you make him gift your fight. As some pointed thou not all presure fighters can bang a good example would be Juan Diaz I think, but I still wouldn't follow a presure boxer chances are it'll fall into his game & majority do pack power which is is why I think they choose that style. So much confidence in their power.
