I had money on that fight, after reading how Lennox arrived in South AFrica Late, and it appeared he was out of shape. I put 50 bucks on Rahman, and I won 6 or 700. I was really happy, but the way Rahman acted after the fight, I wanted him to get whooped in the rematch - and he did...lol
I was simply comparing my experience to some of the articles about him. Some haters said Khan was a ****y jerk, but in the two times I met him - he was real cool. I mean, some of the cats at my gym act like they are celebrities, walking around all yoked up acting hard, here comes Team Khan, greeting the fans, taking pictures, being real cool. So that makes it 3 cool fighters that I met that were real cool.... Oscar De La Hoya, Robert Guererro and Amir Khan. Oh, Floyd was a punk, I met FLoyd when I met Oscar for the May 2007 fight. Oscar chatted with the Fans, Floyd was ****y and arrogant. FLoyd was not the star in the buildup to that fight, it was Oscar, and he was taking the extra time to take pictures with the fans.
Young fans who jumped on the bandwagon. Floyd may have PPV stats and $$$ (post De La Hoya Fame), but he is not loved and admired like Manny, Oscar, Barerre, Morales, Felix Trinidad, and uhhh, even Iron Mike Tyson

I got into Boxing in 1997, when Mike Bit Evanders Ear - since then, I was so curious as to what will happen, if there was going to be a 3rd fight,etc. One of my freinds was a huge fan of the sport since the early 80's, and he had a box full of VHS tapes, I went back and watched all the title fights he had, from Sugar Ray Leonard fights, to the Riddick Bowe-Holyfield, to Oscar-Chavez. In a month, I became a huge boxing fan, and I watched all the great fights of the eithies and 90's... I then watched Tyson, Evander and Lennox Lewis''s career very closely, but it was guys like Oscar, Trinidad, MOsley and Ike Quartey, Hamed, Barerra, Morales, Venron Forrest that kept me hooked on the sport. To answer the question, it was because of Iron Mike that I became a fan of the sport.
I think Marquez did Juice up, and he justified it to himself becuase he trully believes he was robbed in the first 3 fights. With money, there are plenty of ways to get stuff thats undetected by todays testing protocols. I love Marquez, but if he did cheat - SHAME ON HIM.
I met De La Hoya back in 2007 - Also a very cool Cat - and now Khan. Remember people, FLoyd is not SUperman, and he is not invincible. I give him his due for his accomplishments, but stranger things have happened in boxing. When Khan wins a Decision, I will repost this message.
I think the Fasting does have damaging effects on the body - anyone knows that starving will tax your body and cause all kinds of wierd reactions. As a world class athlete, these guys need to eat normally - fasting is a sacrifice, but I think AMir should abandon the fasting until he retires. Putting his body through that one month of shock has its impact
Im changing my tune, I think Maidana Upsets FLoyd in an all out Brawl, forcing floyd to fight - and his aggression and stalking of FLoyd will make it look like the First Jose Luis Castillo fight, but this time - THe Judges will give it to the more active agressive fighter. Floyd turned down 8 million to fight Margarito and took 1 million to fight Baldomir. Shane did not DUck Floyd, Shane took the big money and bigger challenge @ the time, which was Oscar De La Hoya. Mayweather then Ducked Shane until shane was almost pushing 40. Mayweather fights the best welterweights when they are years past their best, and its sad because he couldve beaten them @ their best. I have never denied the skill of floyd, but he has ducked many fighters, and one last thing - his daddy thought Oscar won their fight, so did 72 percent of the public. Thank you.
I said it many times before. Floyd may be intelligent inside the ring, but he is a not very intelligent outside of it. I recommend lil floyd retire, then go and get the best education MONEY can buy.
MOsley may have one last hurrah, and I hope he does. Mosley has always been a true sportsman and I hope he can pull off a win by stunning KO and then retire happily.
The Shane that fought PAc was a better Shane then the one that fought Mayweather. Just as Emmanuel Steward - who said that Shane was overtrained for Mayweather. He was in Camp for a January showdown with Andre berto - that fight fell through due to the tsunami in Haiti - Shane continued to train for his May 1st fight with Mayweather. Manny Stewart said Shane would have lost regardless, but his overtraining ffed him up in the mayweather fight.
In the PAc fight, shane was well rested and had a proper training camp. So there you have it.
Floyd has no choice but to give Pac Props, for two reasons, if he Beats PAcquaio and its very likely, then he will say he beat a great fighter, if he loses, he will say he lost to a great fighter. He cant knock the man now that the fight is about to be made. Biological Clocks are ticking, expect this fight to happen Early Next Year.
I have always like Manny - One of the greatest trainers out there. Manny Stewart and MAnny Paquiaio would have been THE MANNY TEAM. REal talk, my prayers are with him.
