No. But many boxing fans cant stand him and pay for the PPV's because its Floyd and he is a great fighter. But they still want to see him get KTFO. The yes men around him or his family and friends? Like they are going to say on camera or to an interviewer "Floyd also a total d1ck behind the scenes". I doubt it. Is him saying he believes the American public should get behind him and not Pac was him just playing a villain role? Or his argument with his father? Or his hissy fits with Larry Merchant? I dont think he was acting, and in all those examples you see the bad attitude that makes people dislike him. There are countless examples of stupid sh1t he has said...but he says it all on purpose? Do you really, honestly believe the bulk of people who purchase floyd's ppv's and attend his fights do so in the hopes that he loses or to say "I was there when floyd lost"? So all the Willie Pep, Whitaker, Benitez of this world dont need respect because they were not going toe-to-toe ?! This is fuk1ing typical NSB bullsh1t. And fyi Floyd went toe-to-toe plenty of time early in his career, but when he began fighting guys outweighting him but 10+lbs he stopped doing that. He then tried to do it again against Mosley and Cotto and haters said that he was shot and his legs were gone, so he reverted to his defensive style. he reverted to his defensive style because its easier for him to dominate. i'm sure he could give fck all what the fans think about, he wants to get the W that's it.

Why would anyone with his skill set and relative lack of power fight in a way that would lower his chnces of victory? That doesn't make much sense. He will always fight to his strengths. That's my point exactly. He will always fight to his strengths. He has a reserved style. Which is why I (Me personally) and not a fan. And I gave plenty examples of what I prefer. Last example, someone willing to be at a disadvantage because they have too much pride. It's not just about winning and being undefeated to Me. There is a sense of pride, a sense of leaving no doubt, no stone unturned. To keep everybody's mouth shut so even the people who hate you the most can't attack you. In the way you view boxing which seems like the technical, score pints , win rounds , hopefully no one gets cut or bloodied, let's get a 12-round chess match going then you make a lot of valid points. And how many fights I've seen or Duran Hagler etc is pretty much irrelevant because my point was if Floyd is called out to the center of the ring for the less texhnical more physical side of boxing what would he do? What does he do? His ego and his mouth don't match his reserved style. In my opinion. At the end of the day there's a lot of talented boxers that aim to please the people who pay for the PPVs, the fans who fill the seats and pay good money to watch the fights that it really doesn't matter what Floydaywearhrg does. While he's around I'll watch his fights, when he's gone I'll watch boxing, he's just a small piece of the sport in my world, all his pre fight antics and hype are usually more entertaining than his actual fights .

Respectfully, its silly to base your judgement of a fighters style when you have seen maybe 5/100ths or 3/70ths of their career. Nor does it make much sense to judge floyd's whole career on how he has fought since he moved to 147-where his lack of power is even more of an issue. You are entitled to view boxing as you wish.
