Hmmmmm. Has it occured to anyone that Hatton lost because like Arturo Gatti he's just not as good as his fans make him out to be hmmmmm? Not taking anything away from Gatti: I happen to LIKE him. I'm simply pointing out that unfortunately some fans confuse "entertaining" with "great". Gatti was fun to watch but ultimately he was crushed everytime he stepped up. I'm simply saying that people shouldn't translate their fondness for a fighter into a blindness towards his actual abilities. Don't get me started on Chicken Gayweather. Poet i guess it depends on what your definition of "great" is? i can understand why alot of boxing purists criticies guys like gatti..etc..(the list goes on and on) but from my point of view(ok i can talk some shit from time to time!!!) boxing is about excitement & machismo!!! hatton,gatti,froch,pacquiao,haye... etc!!! if only the "elite fighters" had the same attitude?

boxers are limited... he'd need only a simple takedown and ground and pound baby! i voted no assuming it was a boxing match but in a street fight or mma match bas would destroy any boxer! so i agree! boxers,thai boxers,kickboxers etc are effective on their feet but a well rounded fighter like bas would simply take them down and pound them out or choke them or snap one of their limbs! but on the other hand in a boxing match bas would struggle against most half-descent boxers!

Adamek struggles with speed, Dawson gave him a hell of alot of trouble and he has a dodgey chin aswell. adamek was weight drained for the fight with dawson! he moved up in his next fight!

I love the way Britain tries to make out as if the quality of boxing is as good as ours yet someone with just 12, yes 12 fights, is now the Commonwealth (British Empire) heavyweight title holder. dawson -good fighter but overated & unproven! cotto -again good fighter but overated,looks great against lower level opponents like gomez/jennings! couldn`t even stop malignaggi! vlad -good against mediocre opponents! even been kod by a few of them! but never beaten a top heavyweight! i would mention arreola but i dont think anyone outside of the states even rates him nevermind overates him! reminds me of butterbean!

Well it looked that way to me. Anyone else notice this? I'm not taking anything away from the guy. There's no doubt he has some incredible talent, but he still looked a little shocked by it to me.
