I'm one who doesn't believe Ricky should hang it up. I think he has good fights in front of him that he can win. If I was Ricky, this would be my road to redemption.
Go back to Manchester and take a confidence builder fight
Take on the contenders at 140, clean house, work on improving your game
Try and regain a belt or 2 at 140
Go for one more big money fight, retire no matter what happens
I figure this Road to Redemption I have laid out should take him about 3-4 years. He'll be around 34-35. Great time to retire and get out with money and your brain still in tact.
The man just does not have it any more dude.
His excessive consumption of Guiness and pastry has caught up with him and he is now a shell of the man who destroyed the great Kostya Tszyu and Jose Luis Castillo. I have said for several years that he would never have the career longevity of the other Brit World Champions of this decade; the likes of Lennox Lewis and Joe Calzaghe. Sadly I was proven right on Saturday night.
If Hatton got himself a truly great trainer such as Freddy Roach then there is a chance that he could become a World Champion again, but he has already four World titles at two different weight divisions. The one thing he had left to achieve in boxing was attaining the title of the greatest pound-for-pound fighter on Earth. He will sadly never do that now, so why continue?
I am in total concurrence with you there.
hatton should end his career by finishing the hypejob that is tim bradley!!!!
bradley was very lucky to catch witter while his dad was near enough terminally ill!!!
bradley looks a good fighter but nothing more!! holt was lucky to get a "headbutt" victory against torres or whatever his name is!!
i agree that the hitman is past his best but for all the people who downplay his victory against the mighty kostya tszyu!.. they obviously have a very short memory!!!
i have all of his fights on dvd and i seem to remember guys like mayweather,cotto.... etc all running scared!!
i`ll name 1 guy who despite being a massive underdog did not run scared!!!!!
GUESSWHO??

I don't think Hatton can ever recover from the Pacquiao knockout. He needs to have one more fight in Manchester and then call it a day before he puts his health at risk. Ricky looked like he had brain damage on Saturday. A sad sight.
I reckon he will will do as I said: one more then sign off. He'll concentrate on his promotion company instead.

nobody comes back after being knocked cold in 2 rounds...he's a deadbeat now, he should just fight bums in Manchester to make money.
2 words... roberto duran...
Considering that he had only been working with Floyd for the time they were working together...i think it was a REAL bad move he decided to fight Pacquiao...
He has always fought bums, the only times he tried to change he got knocked out.
He may never have beaten any all time greats (and by all time greats I mean fighters in the same class Muhammad Ali, Jack Dempsey, Bernard Hopkins and Manny Pacquiao) but I think it is a little bit foolish to label the great Kostya Tszyu as a mere "bum".

Ricky just proved what we knew all along, he is ducking me.
Hatton.............."What does Junior Witter bring to the table "
Danger!!
Don't you have unfinished business with Bradley?

hatton showed a motivational issue coming from a KO defeat from mayweather... makes me kinda skeptical about this redemption thing this time coming from a much worse KO defeat from pacquiao...
fighting a tomato can or a fading contender sounds like a bad idea to me if u talk about redeeming himself...
a trainer with good motivational skills would certainly help...
I figured you would enjoy that.
Dude seriously you gotta get back at Ricky for that dickhead comment. That was BS.
Ricky just proved what we knew all along, he is ducking me.

Dynamite Kid is actually Junior Witter. It's why he big ups Bradley so much.

Go back to UK fight Witter. If he can get past Witter then take a fight with Bradley or Holt if he can get past that test fight a big money fight but honestly he just made a big payday and he is onyl what 30? He made some big money off of the fight with Floyd too right in my mind he don't look like the type to be throwing his money away so he should be alrgiht if he retires now I do not think he can beat the top P4P fighters of the world so if that was his goal then he should retire right?....Lefty
