How about "get the fuck out of the country" if you don't like it. Praise 9/11, what a scumbag. I'd personally like to punch him right in the face.
It always makes me sad when I se my fellow Muslims praise 9/11. Just because their bombing our lands regularly making "9/11"s a regular occurrence doesn't mean we're allowed to do the same. We have a code of honour which were supposed to abide by. The interesting thing to note is that most people associated with al-muhajiroun have no scholarly credentials. Despite this they a get a lot of media attention whereas scholars of the religion who get ignored .
Great win by burns. Boxed well on the outside with a nice stiff job. Countless left hooks to the body from the outside. And when katsidis did
Manage to get on the inside burns defended beautifully and landed some very accurate, hurtful punches. Great all round performance.
I don't see a problem with Roach picking out Pacman's opponent when their not at their best or pushing for terms that will boost pacman's chances of winning. I mean seriously, what would you do if you were pacman's coach? Roach's done an awesome job with pacman. The de la hoya fight catapaulted pacman into superstardom and Roach was the one that really pushed the fight even when pacman wasn't sure if he would take it. Since that fight Pacman's had some extraordinary wins.
After the David diaz fight pacman said he wouldn't fight at 147 because it's a step too far. Because of his coach's insistence that he fight de la hoya he's not beat the toughest guys in the sport most of whom are welterweights. That's a pretty awesome coach.
You putting Degale's name in the same sentence as Ali and Mayweather honestly made me say "what the f*ck" out loud.
Degale isn't fit to wash either man's jockstrap.
So did you lol.
But seriously; relax. I'm not saying he's as good as them, ik merely pointing out some similarities in their attitudes.
I do not...
Fair enough. I can see how he might get under people's skin. But I really like the cocky, brash fighters. Ali, Mayweather, Degale. I love the "me vs the world" attitude these guys seem to have.
Enough respect to him for making the fight when everyone thought groves would get outclassed. He also remained very calm in the build up unlike his counterpart. I don't think the Haye-Valuev fight was a massive upset though. Although you've got to hand it to him for coming up with the gameplan and drilling it into his fighters to stick to the gameplan.
Pac could take him with his speed. Wlad's big but pac's speed combined with his in and out and lateral movement would be too much for Wlad. Pac would win by late KO.
Since this fight was announced, I've thought they better not **** with Brother Nazim. That's a dude who doesn't look like he's about any bullshit.
lols. I know what you mean.
I love Naz but who cares what he says in regards to this? The fighters are trying to sell the fight and are playing mind games. Its not showing off just for the sake of it. It will make them more money and they can get in there opponents head
He was talking about the stuff that goes on between the trainers not what goes on between the fighters.
yeah but its still hating to me. Dont forget that the Mayweathers are former fighters so they lived this in both ways. Its there personality. Its not fronting. They do that all the time. If he was just talkin about himself then thats cool but if he was throwing jabs at someone else then its not cool
It's hard to say what their personality is as I don't know them. I don't think that Brother Nazim was hating. He was merely saying don't expect any of that "bufoonery" for him.
I can see why Sky wouldn't put the fight on SKy Box Office. I doubt it's going to make much money. Khan and Haye are big names and they been well promoted hence they are well known in England. Froch is not well known at all. He should change promoters. No one would buy Froch VS Kessler n Sky box office. Just look at how many people ordered Froch's last fight on Primetime.
I know we can pick holes in all 3 channels. But HBO and Showtime's coverage urinates and at times defecates on Sky Sports. Firstly, I can't stand it on Sky when they don't let you hear what the corners are saying, they talk over it. Secondly, they don't provide a translator and thirdly, even light swearing is given an apology even at 3 in the morning.
It really makes me very angry when they apologise for the corner swearing. It makes you miss what the corner is saying.
Yeah? How many?
I don't remember teh exact number but I think it was below 5000.
It should be on T.V for free, ITV have been showing his fights for the past few years but suddenly they have now decided to stop showing them, well annoying.
I reckon they would but I think he's demanding to money. He is a world champion but he comes across as a bit of a prick. He needs a different promoter. Someone like Warren maybe.
Pac - Clottey 24/7 would be a big flop. Whereas in Mayweather Mosley 24/7 you've got characters like, Mayweather Sr, Roger, Brother Nazim, B hop and of course the two fighters themselves all of whom will make for very interesting viewing.
lets be real.. if you had mosley down on the scorecards on that fight.. u obviously dont know much about scoring a fight....
the reason mayorga got KTFO.. was because hE HIMSELF.. was looking for a KO to win cos he knew he was down on the scorecards and got caught.
:boxing:
I don't remember if I had Mayorga up but I definitely remember it being very very close. In fact, in the post fight interview Kellerman even asked Mosley if he thought he was behind.
Every fight is different, when are you knuckleheads going to get that?
Just because Mosley fought this way, or Mayweather fought that way in the past, it doesn't mean they are going to come out and have a repeat performance.
People are not robots, this is why they set the fights up.
I have Mayweather winning but if anyone thinks Mosley doesn't have a chance, they are fooling themselves.
Clearly every fight is different but when you make predictions you make them based on previous performances.
Yeah we get it TS Floyd is invincible, bye now:wave:
Look man, you're 25 years old. Instead of acting like a child in a playground make a valid point so we can have a nice boxing discussion.
I dunno man, you speak very harshly of Vernon and Winky Wright, I guarantee you Floyd would never have stepped in with those guys if the opportunity came up, I still look over Floyds record and honestly it doesnt read that much more impressively than Mosleys if it does at all.
May ducked Cotto and Mosley fought well in that fight anyway I thought, Floyds last few fights were against a blown up smaller dude, Ricky Hatton (lol), the likes of Baldomir, Mitchell, dont forget May was troubled by Castillo as well.
I think Shane is probably the most skillfull guy he has come up against and the fight fascinates me
I think Vernon and Winky were/are quality fighters but I just don't think they had the skills that floyd's got. The thing is, IMO, Mosley's only chance of winning is by KO, and because I see Mayweather being super defensive in the fight I don't see a way for Mosley to win.
Says the guy who makes a thread about it being impossible for Shane to win because Floyd is unbeatable.....stop spamming.
Read my post carefully. I didn't say Floyd is unbeatable. In fact I think Pacquiao may KO floyd. But I do think that Mosley has no chance of beating Floyd. Please leave this thread. It was intended for serious boxing discussion. I don't want it to be derailed by petty arguments. thanks.
The only 24/7's I liked were the ones with Mayweather in them. The rest were pretty crap. De la hoya pac was decent i suppose. Mayweather Mosley should be awesome.
