How can anyone have Mosley winning?

I dunno man, you speak very harshly of Vernon and Winky Wright, I guarantee you Floyd would never have stepped in with those guys if the opportunity came up, I still look over Floyds record and honestly it doesnt read that much more impressively than Mosleys if it does at all. May ducked Cotto and Mosley fought well in that fight anyway I thought, Floyds last few fights were against a blown up smaller dude, Ricky Hatton (lol), the likes of Baldomir, Mitchell, dont forget May was troubled by Castillo as well. I think Shane is probably the most skillfull guy he has come up against and the fight fascinates me I think Vernon and Winky were/are quality fighters but I just don't think they had the skills that floyd's got. The thing is, IMO, Mosley's only chance of winning is by KO, and because I see Mayweather being super defensive in the fight I don't see a way for Mosley to win.

lets be real.. if you had mosley down on the scorecards on that fight.. u obviously dont know much about scoring a fight.... the reason mayorga got KTFO.. was because hE HIMSELF.. was looking for a KO to win cos he knew he was down on the scorecards and got caught. :boxing: I don't remember if I had Mayorga up but I definitely remember it being very very close. In fact, in the post fight interview Kellerman even asked Mosley if he thought he was behind.

Every fight is different, when are you knuckleheads going to get that? Just because Mosley fought this way, or Mayweather fought that way in the past, it doesn't mean they are going to come out and have a repeat performance. People are not robots, this is why they set the fights up. I have Mayweather winning but if anyone thinks Mosley doesn't have a chance, they are fooling themselves. Clearly every fight is different but when you make predictions you make them based on previous performances.

I agree it's completely stupid to think for one second a guy who got outboxed by Cotto has a chance to beat Mayweather.

In the Mayorga fight Mosley looked awful and some had him behind on the scorecards. mayorga was 175 lbs on fight night In his next fight against Margarito he put on an exceptional performance. But as we all know, Margarito's defence is virtually non-existant. the difference is mosley stopped margarito and floyd didn't stop baldomir (a margarito clone minus the punching power) Prior to that he LOST against Cotto. a controversial and disputed loss Some people are saying Mosley's going to KO Mayweather. IMO, that's a ridiculous assertion to make. its less ridiculous than asserting the floyd will KO mosley In Mayweather's last fight against Marquez he was ultra defensive. So imagine how defensive he's going to be against Mosley. yeah, he's gonna run, but mosley isn't a blown up lightweight So really, there's not a chance in hell that Mosley's going to KO Mayweather. there's a chance So the only other way Mosley could win is via decision. But Mayweather is way too slick to lose a decision. nah... if it goes to decision floyd will win. mosley has to go for the KO imho On top of that, Mosley's been well beaten by much lesser fighters than Mayweather. i.e Winky and Vernon. floyd can't beat winky or vernon either So how on earth does ANYONE think Mosley has any chance of winning. In fact I think Pacquiao may KO floyd. But I do think that Mosley has no chance of beating Floyd. Please leave this thread. It was intended for serious boxing discussion.
