maybe he trains at a slow pace so he can train longer like a stamina exercise...shit maybe the man has weights in his gloves...to me it looks like it was a long day of training and we just caught the end of it..
boxing is a very unpredictive sport...cotto and pac could be another gatti vs ward or maybe someone gets knocked out within the first 10 seconds of the fight or the bell will ring and both fighters end up scared of eachother and never find a rhythm and it becomes boring...anything can happen
Tua does have a very good chance at winning over wlad...wlad and vitali like the whole feel out round...and if tua comes out swinging and pressures really hard like katsidis or even fukin ricky hatton did against mayweather he would knock wlad out.....now against vitali..ummmmmmmm if his stamina could last 12 rds. doing the whole pressure thing then tua for the win...
honestly with good training and tua actually sticking to his plan...i think he could...his last fight he looked really good...he just has to keep it up and dont get lazy..
coke doesnt stay in your system for very long if your just an occasional user..so really its not a big deal..as long as he doesnt do it during training or a fight.... and just be glad its cotto and not sugar shane..cuz roids and coke together=an indestructable monster..
cotto has done the jab KD a few times before clottey so i would have to say its more of a timing thing then luck. shit i wouldnt be suprised if cotto did that to pac.
i always saw archie moore having a peek a boo defense..sometimes he would put his forearm near his forehead and his other forearm near his chin..and he would leave a hole between his arms where he could see or "peek" out...just my two cents
cotto vs marg 2 would be awesome...i think margarito does have a statement to make and i think cotto should prepare more for puching the shit out of someone and still have them in your face..cheat or not margarito had one hell of a chin in that fight...
i never really hated any boxer...i respect all boxers that go out there to fight...shit i could sit there and watch two nobodies box eachother and it could get boring as hell and i will totally be satisfied just because i love the sport....i have my likes and dislikes...like i dont care for pacman to much but he is an excellent boxer and hes the one to beat...even calzaghe...i REALLY dont care for him..but will i watch him? yup..it was his slapping all over the place style that threw people off their game and i respect that...
holyfield is one of my all time favorites. ive always enjoyed watching him fight and the style he brought to the table.. and no matter how old he is ill still root for him..Holyfield is a true warrior..
i was so excited when i read about david tua fighting again soon i think it was on fightofthecentury.co.nz ...ive always enjoyed watching him box and his style...yeah he lost on a title shot but oh well..hes still one of my favorite HWs.
pac likes to overwhelm his opponents with fast awkward angle punches to the point of them either dropping their guard or trying to desperatley slug it out to get away. well on the other hand floyds defense kinda causes people to try to overwhelm him and then with one or few counters he stops them or stops their rythm..so i dont know what to go for..its going to be very interesting to see how the fight goes
cottos power is def. still there..i know it didnt look like much against pac but if you saw pac after the fight he was pretty banged up and he even said he doesnt know how much more of cottos body punches he couldve taken..sure hes been in some wars and they take a little piece of you each time but i think cotto isnt even close to finishing...cotto needs to get a new trainer and start over and come up with a strict game plan that will mesh with his abilities now...he knows what its really like to get beaten and lose now.(not cheated against and beat the hell up. but fair and square lose.)..now its time to destroy some people again.
umm..i believe pac is on something but i dont know about roids..i would say maybe....but then again think about it...if you were on roids would you fight hand picked welters and get them at a low catchweight? shit i would totally go for the big dogs of the welters at their weight and shock the world(im not saying he hasnt done a good job of doing that but at a more extreme level)....so i think pac is probably taking something undetected and probably legal but nothing as extreme as roids.
well isnt cheating dishonorable??...so wait ali shooting his arm out to the side so the opponent looks at it and then gets hit with the other hand is dishonorable? or suguar ray leonard spinning his arm around in circles so the opponent gets nervous and starts panicking cuz he doesnt know what punch is coming is dishonorable?? ohhhh wait i think i know what you guys are trying to say now....you guys are saying people who dont use the whole catch off guard technique and sit there and throw punches to hurt...right?? my bad i didnt understand where you were coming from..
you cant stop two guys from wanting to fight eachother who they probably think will bring the best out of them...they want to keep going til someone is fully destroyed....its part of boxing.....you find that opponent that matches you and thats it, you would probably be happy just to keep fighting that person....
dishonorable tactics would be punching him in the groin then throwing an uppercut after he grabbed himself and made the "i just got rocked in the nuts" face....or dishonorable tactics is elbowing someone after u punched them, or headbutting. Dirty fighting is dishonorable. Throwing a jab to the side so someone lowers their guard thinking "what a dumbass he missed!" and then you throw one of your best shots and it lands. Thats called being smart, and an easy win. Fukin Ricky Hatton, Im so mad at him for that..
umm i kinda consider mosley and judah pretty fast and cotto ended up adapting pretty well and even made them look kinda slow at times. Cotto seems like hes very patient and calm in the ring and picks his shots as he goes and turns it up when he needs to which is working out pretty good for him.....just my 2 cents on the subject.
