Ali vs. Foreman
Ali was getting the hell beat out of him, and has since admitted that he suffered terrible damage in that fight, particularly to the body.
I've never seen a fight change direction so quickly and dramatically as that fight.
Everyone thinks Ali built his career on his trilogy with Frazier, but the truth is, beating Foreman in such dramatic and unlikely fashion is his Ali's most noteworthy career achievement.
Ali became a legend that day.
Actually, if I recall accurately, the cards were quite close. Ali was winning some rounds off of the ropes, countering.
Floyd will be remembered as one of the top handful of fighters ever. Perfect (almost) defence, wonderful adaptive-reactive skill and killer speed. Floyd is tough for anyone in history to beat.
Garcia winning comfortably and breaking him down but im not that impressed
Someone with decent movement (foot and head) is going to make him look very ordinary imo
The dude with the best speed and movement cant take a punch.
Floyd is a genius. Start with that. He has the best boxing mind since Ali. He adapts so swiftly, he is a textbook.
I'd wager a bigger guy who is very physical and has a high punch output. Money's biggest minus is his low output, so he can be beaten by sheer volume potentially. Antonio Margarito would have been a decent match up at one time.
Not fully. I see the logic with the comparison. Khan is just Khan, he's won a few good fights, lost a few and has defensive issues. He'll end up with a 40-8 record or something like that, be a 2-3 weight world champion and retire with money in the bank.
His chin means he's always going to be iffy. Always.
