The great thing about boxing is a fight is never over because one punch can win the fight.
So what are the most one sided fights that have been turned by a KO.
I can think of JCC beating Taylor but while be was way behind he wasn't really hurt much and Taylor was getting hurt throughout the fight.
Also Julian Jackson and Errol Graham was one.
There must be more though.
And no Lewis v Vitali please.
Castro vs Jackson - Fight of the year 1994 -
Can't believe it took that long for someone to mention this.
By far it has to be #1 for the sustained beating Castro was taking, he looked like a horror movie after the fight.
There's a couple out there. Chris Byrd vs Vitali Klitschko comes to mind. Moorer - Foreman is another.
More recently, you could say Taylor - Froch. Though it wasn't a beating, he was well behind on the cards before KOing Taylor.
Byrd did not take a beating against Vitaly. He was down on the cards, but all the rounds were fairly close. This fight was much more competitive than it is now portrayed which is why the German fans were cheering for Byrd when he win.
Cassamayor vs Santa Cruz
Trinidad vs De La Hoya
De La Hoya vs Sturm
Williams vs Lara
Rios vs Abril
Calzaghe vs Hopkins
Leonard vs Hagler
Briggs vs Foreman
Winners on the left. The fighters who should have won are on the right.
Outside of Briggs-Foreman, Rios-Abril and Williams-Lara none of those were beatings. They were slightly controversial fights.
Recently I can go with Tim. He won but he got his ass kicked in that fight vs Provodnikov. Rd1 got dropped, rd6 went flying across the ring, rd12 took a knee to stop getting hammered in the corner.
Jermain Taylor was beating Abraham easily until Abraham KO'd him.
that happens to jermaine taylor in every damn fight .. and 3 out of 4 times it was in the 12th round ... how ****in unlucky can u get
Marciano vs. Walcott
Marciano was dropped in the first round and significantly behind on all three scorecards when he shattered Walcott's jaw and seized victory in the 13th round.
It's amazing when you think about it. Had the 12 round rule been in effect back then, Marciano may have had a loss. Although, the urgency of coming from behind may have come sooner and the result may have been the same.
Ali was winning the fight against Foreman and never looked to be in serious trouble.
edit: missed the "one sided" part.
Anyway the answer to this question is easily: Ali vs Frazier, both I and III.
Fraizer was in hospital for 2 weeks after the first bout and there were reports he had died.
GTFOH with your floboner crap, you dirty slab of foreskin fetta. Find a flojob thread, god knows there is more than enough here, cheesy boy.:nonono:Wow nothing but insults that truly show your hate. Got get a massage or sit and talk to someone. Maybe ask mom to hug you :bottle:
forman vs steward

This is not a good choice. Ali did not get beaten up anywhere near to the level you are describing. He was on the ropes a lot, but the fight was close dude. That lead right hand landed on Foreman's jaw from the beginning. You need to go and rewatch it.
Rewatched it. You are correct. Fight was much closer than I initially thought. A lot of Ali's punches early in the fight seemed ineffective, but they obviously had an accumulative effect.
I stand corrected.

Lamon Brewster vs Wladimir Klitschko the first fight between the two If I recall rightly.
Hard to beat a man who is fighting for something more than just money and that's exactly what Brewster was doing he was a beast that fight.
