I mean, Ali had the Fraziers of this world. SRL had hearns and Duran and hagler. Pac had Morales, barrera and JMM and Cotto. Floyd hasnt got more than one win against any good fighter of note, let alone great fighters of note. And not only was Floyd around at a time of not many very good fighters, he didnt fight most of them with his inactivity. Even BH had 20 title defenses even if the opposition was questionable. FLoyd is ducking Canelo now, so at least get a move on and start defending in the 147 divison.

Floyd will be remembered as one of the top handful of fighters ever. Perfect (almost) defence, wonderful adaptive-reactive skill and killer speed. Floyd is tough for anyone in history to beat. That's true. Jose Luis Castillo had a hard time conclusively beating him.

HONESTLY! The Animosity Goes Away Once Floyd Is Done because fans will realize that they did not appreciate him while he was here, the entertainment out of the ring, the skills and even the people who hate him will miss hating him lol Sure his Resume will be debated and all those other things but when you stack Mayweather up against past and present greats "SKILL FOR SKILL" Mayweather matches up with ANY AND EVERYONE Past Or Present...no question as far as in ring skills goes, one of the most complete fighter I ever seen and also probably the greatest work ethic in boxing history That is a HONEST ANSWER, not some emotionally charged answer from a fan who just hate him :no:

I Think all of those things are a part of him and each person is going to subjectively choose which things to emphasize over the others. I imagine if you like him you would remember more of the positive things and if you disliked him more of the negative. But for those who choose to remain objective and stick to in ring accomplishments he will be remembered as a Olympic bronze medal winning five-division world champion, who has won eight world titles and the Lineal championship in three different weight classes. As well as the most financially successful boxer of his era. That is not a bad way to be remembered at all ^^^^^^^^

One of the best of this era, (IMO not an all time great) all these people are saying that Mayweather is a cherry picker, in 20 years time they are going to say that Floyd would whoop all the boxers of that era. Most people don't know sh** about boxing :boxing:

Manny will be remembered for ducking a prime random blood test valued at $40-$50 million. You fail to mention the constant back-peddling done by Floyd every time Manny agrees to one of his roadblocks? Even Floyd fans said "All Manny has to do is agree to the drug testing. If at that point Floyd puts another roadblock then I will agree that it's Floyd that's ducking" Manny agreed and agreed then Floyd did what the rest (except Floyd fans) already knew. Floyd put out another roadblock!!! That was the last nail that convinced even some of the Floyd fans that Floyd was NOT interested in fighting Manny. Just some die-hard Floyd fans are still holding on to Floyd wanting and not Manny.

Sad that we never got to see the best of floyd because he decided to dodge real talent & threats on their prime... he did not want anything to do with prime Cotto prior to margacheato plaster beating... instead he went on vacation for 2 years, 5 years later he fights Cotto after all the punishment he has received. I would not be surprised if I see floyd wanting to fight Pacquiao after of course he got KO'd by marquez & is probably not in his prime anymore. Im my opinion he is the smartest boxer/ducker of my generation.

Floyd is a great boxer, but I don't like when people say don't judge him on other things. Sometimes you have to. Yes, I know I don't know the guy personally, but to beat up the mother of your children in front of them and among the other things he's done, then what's that say about your character? He's an immature clown, and he's not a good person. As far as in the ring, he'll be known for the big fights he didn't take more than his actual opposition. I can respect your opinion and I don't condone beatdowns on anyone, but c'mon. If some chick accused you of beating her down, don't you think some pics of bruises and bloody eyes and noses would make the case more credible in court? He probably shook the shyt out the kids' mom over some nonsense argument and she claimed torture. He copped a plea to avoid a big ol' case going to trial over some lame argument. He accepted whatever punishment the court handed down.

Well if him fighting just 4 times in 6 years (while others fought 13 times or more) keep boxing alive for the last 10 years so be it. Nobody gave a dam about them other 13 fights.........it's a fact....just look at the numbers ;)
