No thanks. Although I felt if a winner was to be declared it should've been Fury, I don't feel it was a ****ty decision as you say.
With the 2 knockdowns for 10-8 rounds Wilder made up for 2 loss rounds, so If you find two other rounds in his favor you get a draw.
Sounds like a hidden agenda since only one brand is currently doing PPV. Keep that same energy when ESPN puts Loma on PPV.
I just cancelled yesterday. I went to the dazn website and clicked cancel and it opened up Amazon for me to sign in( I subscribed thru my Amazon firestick). I unsubscribed but I don't take effect until the next billing cycle 1/22 so I still get to watch the Andrade fight Friday.
The guy he should be pushing for is Thurman if he wants a belt. I think he beats Thurman now due to styles. He needs more seasoning for Porter's roughhousing, but he's definitely not ready for Bud or the Truth
De la hoya has always spoken extremely highly of spence. Refreshing to see that political allegiances havent prevented oscar from voicing his honest and true opinion
Golden boy will want options on Spence should he win which might cause the fight not to happen.
Haven't heard Spence praising his win of Peterson. I heard him say, though, that he wants to fight fighters with fairly good name standings such as Jessie Vargas and others. I don't think Peterson was on that list.
BTW, I'm not a fan of both as I still have yet to see them get tested against better competition. I was just curious about the Lamont case.
So Dierry Jean was the guy they both fought. I see.
What if Terence is referring to stopping and punishing Tim Bradley in sparring as the other guy that Lamont lost to?
He said the 2 guys he stopped and punished beat Lamont...
Who were these 2 guys?
Lucas and he probably considering Lamont losing to Felix Diaz although he got the nod.
I know he makes weight. But he kills himself to make weight. He's not a true 147 lber.
If he kills himself to make weight, why isn't he dead yet?
Also, why is he not drained of his power thus taken a loss yet?
Personally I don't see these major improvements Canelo has made since Floyd beat him but that's not a criticism because I always rated him highly since he was fighting the likes of Ryan Rhodes. He still has the same flaws to me, mainly dodgy stamina when in a fight he's pushed (like vs Golovkin). What does he do now that is noticeably different?
I remember there were rumours of Floyd fighting him after Mosley in 2010, if it happened then he definitely would've been green and you could say he had improved a fair bit, gained more experience vs top opposition.
There was a lot of demand for the fight when they fought and had it not happened then the fan pressure would've only grown with people saying it's another example of Mayweather cherry picking, avoiding a legit threat and all the usual stuff.
What improved was his team has been smart enough to avoid athletic fighters since the gift against Lara. If he beats GGG it'll be interesting to see what he does with his career. He'll probably retire and abuse his power as the A-side and wait for some slow plodder to make a name for himself then fight him.
I think Spence would still stay at 147, just go up to beat Brook drop the 154 title and drop back down to clean out 147. I don't think it would affect Spence at all, much like it didn't affect Floyd.
Subscribing. I like seeing who's doing what with ratings.
How bad is that Shields vs Nelson number for Showtime for anyone who knows? I can't recall seeing many fights with 300k or less viewers, but I'm not memorizing these TV numbers either so maybe its not THAT bad.
It was a Friday night ShoBox card, not too bad actually.
If I'm correct, he was supposed to fight Keith Thurman. He was the regular champion to Thurman's super champion or something. Obviously, Thurman doesn't plan on fighting soon, so Peterson jumped at the chance to fight for Errol's belt instead. This is what happens when you wait on fighters. Hopefully, Shawn Porter doesn't throw away 2018 waiting for Thurman.
Anthony Peterson not Lamont. Anthony is the younger bro with the loss to BamBam Rios at 135
Sam seems busy. I think Floyd forced Ellerbe to get busy started with the Maidana rematch.
But yea those Watson twins having never existed leaves few ripples of their existent with that butterfly effect type sh^t or whatever.
They aren't twins, one is like 5 years older than the other one.
He knows that winning will lead to a Mattyhsse fight. I honestly CANT see him possibly winning the fight, but he's earned it. I favour him over anybody at 140 outside of Lucas honestly.
No one at 140 beats T-Bud Crawford
And if Spence loses they'll be no excuses from he's fans then? Before the fight was agreed all I heard on here was the Brook was gonna use weight as an excuse to give he's belt up. Now we're already hearing about biased judges and refs stopping fights too quickly and the bell hasn't even sounded.
No excuses from me, I don't dislike Brook I'm just tired of waiting for him to do something meaningful. All he does is brag about a loss GGG as a crowning achievement. I feel he's between a rock and a hard place because if he loses I think the less popular and younger fighters at 154 all beat Brook so where does u go? If he loses he'll may fight Khan and/or PAC then retire.
I think Brook knows he'll lose and use the weight as his excuse. He says he didn't want to give up his belt to move up, but that's the only way. If he wins and decides to move up, he's still giving up the belt. Once Spence knocks Brook out in front of his fans, he'll have his excuses ready.
Easy work for Sweet Pea however I could see a robbery a la de la hoya fight. If Whitaker plays around too much and Pac is throwing flurries, hitting air nonetheless a robbery wouldn't surprise me.
Lara probably wins, doubt Thurman's power carries up and he's vulnerable on the front-foot.
Thurman's not going to 154 though, he said Canelo is the only guy he'd move up in weight to fight.
Thurman has fought at 154 before and the powers does carry.
