Spence was 156 on fight night for Ocampo and Crawford was 157 on fight night for Horn on fight night. They posted the weights. Spence beats Crawford easily in my opinion but neither of us knows for sure until they fight. What did Crawford ever do at 147 to make him a sure thing to beat Spence? Eye test, and I think he has the far better resume, even though most of his fights were at 140. I think he can route Spence, or even stop him. I think crawford is the best counter puncher/trap setter in the game, and would hurt Spence as Spence comes in with his body shots.

Why is Errol Spence being called weight bully? I notice this everywhere in social medias, in youtube, in forums, everywhere. Is it because he is a huge man being able to squeeze his body into 147 lbs or is it because he can make 147 lbs but in the fight night he has an option to blow up against his opponent? In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with this, this is great advantage he could use. Not everyone has that ability to squeeze that huge body into a smaller weight and then have an option to blow up in fight night if he so chooses to. That right there is a great weapon.

Chavez did this and got criticized for it and rightfully so. Both like to fight in Texas and neither likes VADA. (just saying :D ) There should be a hydration clause, imo, of about 6-8%. Boxing should be about boxing, not about who can rehydrate and dehydrate the best. Fighters facing each other should be roughly the same size.

If he's a weight bully then he is doing it wrong as he has never missed weight and also holds the IBF strap that makes you weigh in again on fight day and you can't be more than 10 pounds over the welterweight limit. We're talking a smaller guy (who was much older) meeting the much bigger young lion in the middle on weight and comparing it to Canelo demanding a redehydration clause to fight a guy in the same weight class as him. And it looks worse since Canelo has been using his size to beat up smaller guys his entire career, but the minute it looks like he might not have an overwhelming weight advantage he starts putting all these clauses in the contract. Sorry about the spelling error. GGG has weighed 168 on fight night for middleweight fights before. Canelo weighed the same as GGG on fight night for the two fights they had with each other. Canelo has filled out and is a big middleweight now. Let's see what he weighs when and if he fights Kovalev.

The guys shows up close to 170 lbs fight night shredded at is over 5 9. This is close to triple g's fight night weight. He should be fighting at mw instead of killing himself to make 147. The last fight night weight I saw for Spence was 156 pounds not 170. I think you are making the 170 up in your head and he never weighed close to that on fight night. If a welterweight is too small for Spence he can fight at 140. As long as Spence makes 147 he is a welterweight and the best welterweight.
