Pavlik fought Hopkins and Martinez instead of Sturm. I think that was the braver road. Sturm was never really in the picture for Pavlik. Talks were about Pavlik and AA at a time when Pavlik was being hampered by injuries. The demand was never high enough for Pavlik/Sturm to get any real traction, and there were always bigger fights looming for Pavlik. I just think Sturm needs to start calling out names like Martinez, Williams and Pavlik. He's doing great work at home, but he has nothing to lose coming for these bigger fish.

He looked a bit rusty in his come back fight. He wasnt on vacation or resting... he couldnt fight because he was in court wars with UBP his old promoters, but now hes a free agent and did an excellent show which was TVed by his own.
