I think Rigo beats Caballero.
Caballero is overrated, his punches are wide, and he's sloppy.
You're right, too wide open to someone with that amateur experience.
Rigondeaux is strictly a counterpuncher, he almost never leads and doesn't want to. Good luck sitting on your back foot and trying to consistently counterpunch someone that's 4-5-6 inches taller.
Caballero is underrated because of his awkward/sloppy punching technique, but the man has few holes in his game other than that and would tattoo Rigondeaux into submission at this point.
Check out Sergio Martinez sometime.
Good fighter.......................................................
I don't kno why everyone is so high on rigo , I mean he just barely turned pro he's 30 years old
Therefore I doubt he has a great career , at most he is gonna fight another 7-8 yrs and he will probably never be great in the pros.
Why do cubans always turn pro late eg; gamboa is 27 rigo 30 ,is amatuers that fun over there
You serious?
Cubans cant go pro
Well it would be nice if someone explained instead just saying "you're an idiot"
And "dumb question"
Not everyone is into the cuban amatuer "crisis" lol
wow.... anyways cuba is a communist country where they do not let their athletes turn pro, therefore they have to escape the island and leave their families behind.
dumb question :dunce:

I haven't caught it either, but it was 6 years ago. Pacquiao was a one handed fighter 6 years ago. Caballero has dominated 3 top 10 lefties since then and is staying in shape year round fighting at a healthier weight.
He offered the rematch to Cordoba and could've proven it, but Cordoba took the Rigondeaux fight instead.
What about the Mathebula fight?
I remember after that fight most writers including Rafael thought Cab got a gift.

How did Cordoba beat Cab?
Was Cab off his A game?
I haven't seen the fight.
But the scores are one-sided and Cab got knocked down in the 10th.
I wish somebody could find this fight.

Corboda convincingly beat him and dropped him in a battle of Panamanians, in Panama.
But that was at 122. Tough to believe that he's not healthier at 126/130.

Rigo Ices Him, and he Stops Gambo and Lopez, just in case.
Sounds like your overrating him.
Who has he beaten to make you think he can beat anybody you just mentioned?
