I am sick of people saying that last nights fracas was just a brawl between Haye and Chisora . Aswell as this a lot of people are saying that what happened last night was nothing new in boxing and mention that fighters of the past such as Frazier and Ali brawled in public as well as Lewis and Rahman , Tyson and Lewis . First of all Ali and Frazier didnt brawl they wrestled to promote the fight, the same with Rahman and Lewis, both of these fights were clearly staged . While the Tyson and Lewis scuffle was a real brawl, as both men traded punches and Tyson did bite Lewis leg . There were no weapons used by either boxer, even though it was still disgraceful behaviour from Tyson and he should of had his licence revoked . But this was much worse than that and had nothing to do with boxing and the promotion of the fight, which all the other scuffles mentioned did , even though the Tyson - Lewis scuffle did cross the line by a big margin. But last nights fracas not only crossed the line in boxing, it crossed the the line by a million miles and scraped away what little credibility boxing has left . Both men have clearly brought the sport in to serious disrepute . They both clearly intended to cause grevious bodily harm to each other, by smashing each other with bottles. One of Chisoras entourage did infact glass Adam Booth and he could of easily blinded Booth .The same with David Haye he started the brawl by glassing Chisora in the face, he also could of done serious damage to Chisora . It angers me to hear people saying last night was great for the heavyweight divsioin and it will bring back some excitement to the division and some even found it humourous . Well to the people who say that I will ask you this . Would you have found it exciting for the heavyweight divsion if someone involved in the brawl got seriously injuried or worse yet someone was killed , because it could of easily happened, for instance if some of the smashed glass cut booths neck it could of severed a main artery. He could of bleed to death within minutes and the same could of happened with Haye glassing Chisora . Both fighters should not only have their licences revoked but both should be banned from boxing for life . Also both men should be charged with intent of grevious bodily harm and should both spend time in prison. To put things in to perspective, if they were average joes glassing each other on the street thats what would happen. I cant believe boxing has sunk this low.

He is only 21 and narrow lost out on a gold medal in the world amateur championship. Heavyweight prospect Tyson Fury has admitted that Joshua beat the crap out of him in sparring . Could this kid be the next undisputed heavyweight champion. He is 6'7 and is a very hard puncher and is about 230 pounds.

I have heard it said, that Elijah Tillery was considered the best gym fighter in the world, back in the early nineties. It is said he outboxed every fighter in the gym , including Tyson. Is this true?.

Was Hurricane actually robbed of the title in that fight because that is what the film suggests.

How would his handspeed compare with a young Tyson?.

What I always found odd about Tyson is how lazy he was in the clinch. When he got inside he just didnt seem to want to fight inside . Its not that Tyson couldnt fight inside, against Ruddock for example he did some great work inside on Ruddocks body but thats the only fight I remember from Tyson of really fighting great inside . Tyson had short arms and was a great body puncher so he should of being able to fight inside as good as Joe Frazier but for some reason he couldnt or maybe couldnt. What do you think?.

Did any of Tysons sparing partners kick his ass when he was with Rooney?. Because of the sparring I have seen of him with Rooney . I havent seen any of the sparring partners doing anything with him. The sparring I have seen of him even for the first bruno fight with jesse ferguson . Tyson looked like ****.

Did Tyson wear built up shoes to protect his chin?. If you look at his boxing shoes . They had a very big heel in them . Could the cushioning in them have helped him absorb the heavy punches he took from Ruddock and Lewis?.

What I saw of Haye saturday night really pissed me off . The guy had excellent , speed , power and head movement . But his footwork was woeful he could slip punches really well but he couldnt counter with combinations . His punching technique ie his telegraphed hayemake can be seen coming a mile away . It was very frustating to watch him because Haye is by far the most talented fighter in divsion and he could easily beat Wlad who is heavyweight champ by default . I am sorry but Wlad is most one dimensional fighter I have ever seen . He has a decent jab and is good at keeping his opponents at distance but he can only throw a jab and a right hand . He cannot throw any combinations , his inside fighting is non existant . Any sort of head movement gives him fits . You might say Haye made him miss so much because he was running from wlad the whole time and was super cautious but in one round where Wlad trapped Haye on the ropes he opened up on Haye and missed by wide margins he made Wlad clumsy . If Haye made Wlad pay for those misses he would of knocked Wlad out .

Not now as he is only 17 and an amateur light heavyweight . But this kid is 6'4 fast and very powerful with boxing finese well beyond . Trust this kid is going to be heavyweight champion in 5 years time.

Could the next great heavyweight be Irish light heavyweight Joe Ward. He is only 17 and is 6'4 and 182 pounds. He won a gold medal in the European championships where he made a much more experienced fighter look ordinary . He has handspeed and and great boxing skills for his age . By the time is 23 he could of easily piled on 30 pounds and could be a heavyweight. Has anybody seen this guy. What do you think?. He has the height and reach to make a good heavyweight.

Macklin has Irish parents but he was brought up in England and he wears to those Irish shorts when he boxes. So do his shorts and his bloodline give him more of a nationality more than him being born in England and having an english accent? In other words, if he is english, why is he boxing for Ireland?

There is some of it on the internet and it has an enormous amount of views. So why doesent Tyson release all of his sparring footage of himself in the eighties when he was at his best for say 50 dollars per dvd . He could have vol 1 , vol 2, vol 3 etc . He could make a lot of money. I am sure he has hundreds of hours of him sparrring on tape from 85 to 88.

I havent seen the guy but he tall and rangy with a good jab and fights a lot like vladimir klitschko.

I was looking at some sparring videos of Tyson and Mccall seems to give Tyson more problems than his other sparring partners.

Yes the heavyweights today are sub standard and that includes the klitschkos . Why are the klitschkos dominating the division . Its very simple because they are much taller than their opponents they are able to keep them at bay with their jab . The Klischkos dont have a particularly good jab . Its just that their opponents dont have any headmovement to avoid it. If any of these guys like boystov or perez could learn to move their head they could beat these statues. They have no footwork , no boxing skills and cant fight inside . Infact they grab like an octupus anytime any of their opponents get close. As for haye yes he has got talent he has speed, power and reflexes but he never learned how to box . He has no jab, lousy footwork, not enough head movement and jumps in and leaves his chin exposed . If haye learned how to box he would easily knock klitschco out.

Where is he?. I mean in other sports you have phenomonon coming through the sports all time e.g. lebron james, tiger woods, lionel messi, maradonna, michael jordan, roger federer , raphael nadal. Where the hell is the next great heavyweight?.

NFL player Ray Edwards has taken up boxing and will make his pro debut this Friday. His trainer says he is faster than muhammed ali and punches harder than tyson. He is 6 foot 5 and 270 pounds but he moves like a balerina . What does anyone know about this guy?.
