yeah cotto and pavlik on the same card is great but not ppv great. both fights are going to be dominated by cotto and pavlik ending the fights early. which doesnt make it ppv material. Why not make marg vs mosley ppv that seems a better fight to be on ppv. am not complaining cause i rather watch marg vs mosley for free.

NO my man. I appreciate fighters fighting tough opponents. I am just sick of everybody repeating over and over that Margarito is better than Sugar Shane or Floyd Mayweather. And there reasoning behind it is because neither Shane or Floyd wanted to fight him. He has 5 losses and until his fight Saturday no fan base.
Ok Margarito may not be a better "boxer" than those two but he is a greater "fighter" he has the balls to stand in the middle of the ring and go toe to toe. Floyd's style of fighting is like a little bitch, let me elaborate hit twice back off and run and when hurt give your back to the opponent. If he faces Margarito he better work on his stamina so he could run all night. Shane vs Margarito would be a way better matchup, but I would have to give it to Margarito cause of his stamina.
Now on his five losses do your homework right the first three where when he was 15 yrs old and fought with people on there prime (meaning around 28-31 yrs of aged). The 4th one was stop cause of a cut on his right eye. The one with Williams is because he started late (his mistake, his own fault) but he whopped his ass in the last round on a rematch Tony would do a better job.

The guy took punishment from at least the 7th round untill the 11th. He got up twice. Had his face broken in many places. Israel Vazquez, Frietas, Duran all had the physical ability not the mental ability. Cotto didn't have the physical ability that is why his corner stopped it. Cotto's uncle stopped it because his nephew was getting beaten and worn out. He took that knee out of being tired not quitting. Cotto lost. But Margarito WON the fight more than Cotto lost it. If he had a different cornerman that wasn't related god knows it wouldn't be pretty. Stop this quitting Bullshit because if it weren't for his family Cotto might have been really hurt. Good stoppage by his corner, Great Will to win by Margarito, and bad gameplanning by the Cotto crew.
Not to put Cotto as a bitch cause to be able to take all the punishment that Tony dish out he lasted 11 rounds which I think he has more balls than most fighters (yeah am talking bout gayweather, mosley, de la hoya). But at the end he quitted. Cotto is a great fighter and will continued to be.

After he got up u could tell, when cotto's corner got onto the ring, Cotto closes his eyes and nobs as if giving a sign of approval for them to throw in the towel.
I don't think we are afraid, in a rematch I think Tony would start putting pressure early in the fight. And as he did with Citron and Cotto, he is just going to absorb all the punches he throws at him without any damaging effect.
if pac loses to dlh it wouldn't be a surprise its like putting a kid with a grown up. It may not seem like a big difference but going up or down in weight it messes around with ur skills. specially if pac goes to WW. and if dlh wins they will said that he was the first mexican to beat the mexican killer (being mexican) It would be a disgrace.
ok mayweather knows how to box and "RUN" around the ring but tony knows how to cut the ring and absorbs punches and that way be able to get in the inside and catch floyd with body punches and slow him down. And remember floyd doesn't have a chin like cotto

I'd love to see Tony get a big $ fight wit DLH if DLH had the balls to do it. But that won't happen, so there's nobody else he needs to be fightin right now other than Williams. Unifyin wit the other titlists or takin on Mosley can wait until afterwards.

It was a good fight because the two guys were just slugging at he other. Vanda its just another bum to get chavez some experience.
When is Chavez Jr. gonna get sum real fights??? If he's been pushed to the limit by these guys then there's no question that he doesn't belong in big money fights. Big money fights mean quality opposition, which Chavez Jr. has not fought yet. Lets face it... da first good guy he faces will become his first pro defeat.
You gotta remember he never had an amatuer career. and a lot of people put a lot of preassure on him cause of his last name. Slowly but surely he will begin to grow cause it looks like he has an excellent style and a great chin.
margarito does not ko shane, i even think mosley would win the fight by decision, mosley is tougher than cotto.
